Since the September 21 governorship election in Edo State, political discourse in Nigeria have centered on electoral integrity and accountability; how electoral contests should be conducted to reflect the very will of the people and enhance Nigeria’s democratic experience. The Edo governorship election has been widely condemned by both local and international observers on account of the brazen manipulation of the process, especially by the institution responsible for conducting and managing elections in Nigeria, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Corrupt judges were executed in gruesome ways in full glare of the public in Roman Empire . Those killings sanitized their society and ushered in a progress that is still being referenced in today’s world. Nigeria can never progress with a corrupt judiciary and INEC even in the next 1000 years |

INEC will help politicians rig elections. Judiciary will help in killing the case. The judiciary is even the worst. Very useless sets |

What I have learnt so far is that the election itself is useless, just focus on how to rig INEC and cage the judiciary. I remember when the name "Jega" became a cliche for INEC uprightness in 2011, Now if you are called "Mahmud" you feel insulted. Really sad what Nigeria democracy has become |

aariwa:Trash. Judges are corrupt because they refused to change thr results of the election when your loser candidate went to court and could not prove any irregularities. The judges are supposed to go along with your candidate lies and propaganda? To people like you, judges are only good when you jave your way. Rubbish trash |

With technology and simple straightforward laws, you can make Nigeria hell for any corrupt public officer But none of the elected politician will take up the fight cos they're also thieves. Who will bell the cat? There are countries were tribunals are set-up and individuals are called to come explain the source of their wealth. If you are observed by your neighbours to have unexplained wealth with no verifiable source of income, your neighbour will write a simple online petition and an independent agency will immediately start to verify your claim. Once found guilty, all your assets will be seized by the government and sold off to fund public education and health and other needs. The best part of it is, there's a timeframe of 3 months to investigate and conclude every unexplained wealth corruption case |

Its only in Nigeria that someone like amadi will have boldness to accuse electoral body. A pdp member for that matter who was to have use power sectir to corruptly enrich himself His party PDP chairman then was known by the name mr fix it . The clause go to court was invented by the party. I have never known any party in Africa who rig like Pdp. Election were written and announced while election was still ongoing Even pdp local internal election has never been free. Delegate are dollargate, vote cast is always more than delegate. |

tomax026:Brainwashed low IQ retard, you are the foolish one here. What is the reality of Nigerian elections? You go to court claiming that you won, you didn't show any evidence of how you won but you expect the judges to declare that you won. The reality is that all Nigerian politicians always claim that they were cheated when in f as ct they also cheated. So shut up and stop posting emotional rant that lack facts and rational thinking. |

You can't get people on your side through constant complaints of the electoral System! |

E be like una never really understand the implications of what INEC and the Judiciary are doing to our Democracy After the so-called 'glitch' at the general election. They did worse most recently in Kogi, and Edo. The Umpire itself helping to write fake party results on cloned Polling Unit forms EC8A. It's like having Centre Referee in a match and they pass to the Referee (INEC) to score a goal and the VAR (Judiciary) sees nothing wrong in a Referee helping one of the teams to just score now. The VAR said the team they scored did not bring enough videos to prove its case. If you are cheering what INEC is doing now because it favours your candidates. you would need this same INEC tomorrow to be fair when you you actually stand a clear chance and they won't be there for you. It's called Karma An institution who is supposed to be the custodian of our democracy is the one daily killing it. It's really a shame. President Buhari must really be somewhat commended for his least interference in the off-cycle elections during his tenure ( onlythe second tenure tho), that saw to the heightened interests among the populace in the 2023 elections. Everything went south from there onward.. so much for the so-called fighters for Democracy
