Dangote refinery got subsidised dollar from CBN.While CBN gov,Emiefele, sold a dollar at ₦700 to the public,he was selling to Dangote at ₦200 per dollar.

Mele must GO
He is corrupt and useless. NNPC owns 7% of Dangote Refinery but owes 100% of four refineries that have not worked in 20 years despite recently investing $4 billion on them.

NIGERIAN Government can Fix Roads ..
But on thing is forbidden,..

They cannot fix Electricity

They cannot fix Industries

They cannot fix refineries..

If Dangote groups can build Refinery on Nigeria soil...

And Dunamis church the Largest auditorium at the center of Abuja..

And The Ark at the heart beat of Ogun state ..

They Nigerians are indeed very greedy and wicked...

Part owner wit 7%shares only while u were offered 20%.Mele is really a fool for this statement. There should hav even been a better deal for NNPCto own abt 40% like it does in NLNG.Nigeriaas a country should also be reaping from d profits of dangote refinery not wit a mere 7% which is absolutely nothing

Nnpc is only interested in making money, don't care about Nigerians. But for how long?
Re: NNPC Part-Owner Of Dangote Refinery – Mele Kyari by Bluntemperor: 6:10am On Nov 13, 2024
Kyari can continue to live in deceit, thinking doing so,will keep him in Office.
No reasonable person, either in business or outside can take you seriously - for NNPC is dead a long time ago:
- you can't be claiming what is not yours, since you are not a producer
nor adding values to Nigerians.

Nigeria is not asking the important questions.

Nigeria borrowed billions of dollars to buy 20% stake in dangote refinery. But ended up having 7% share.

What happened to the balance of the money?

Something is really out of place.
This comment alone is a proof that the Four Nigerian Refineries will no longer be functional and it's a very intentional thing.
It would be good the FG sells the refineries to the States(first right of privilege) on whose land they are and let them run it as they choose. They can be mergers for some States though.

After pumping fg's billions of dollars esp under PMB, Emefiele, what could be truer?

At the end of the day, Dangote Refinery is owned by all Nigerians.

100 % owned by Nigerians.

Dangote is the CEO.

Know this and know peace.

When one shareholder refuses to invest when others investing, that shareholder looses her share percentage.

That money was already borrowed for the sole purpose of 20% stake at the refinery.

Why was part paid and the rest restricted?

Who was in charge?

Who gave the order for the part payment?

Where is the BALANCE?

I don't understand your part payment and restriction part, but ask ourselves some critical question
When NNPCL invested in Dangote refinery, how do much they invest and how much was Dangote Industries Limited raising? What was the capital before NNPCL invested and after was there any investment, if any, how much?

Outside Interest (OI). NNPC can’t exercise control or exert significant influence.

Only $1.44 billion investment in Dangote and the guy no want make we hear word.

Nothing hard to understand there.

First, FG had an upper hand as to how the a good part of the shares were to be distributed. They made it clear to dangote on the condition that there were going to assist with Forex.

And so, FG went ahead to borrow to finance the 20% stake. This was the point we lost the FG. Everyone believed Nigeria had the 20% stake until recently.

That is where all the questions I asked came in. This will enable us have clarity and understand who sabotaged us and the way forward.

Why was part paid and the rest restricted?

Who was in charge?

Did some government officials sabotage the process so they could buy up the remaining 12.5% stake?

These questions are very understandable and valid!
