There was a time I had #20 in my wallet for like. 3 weeks,I didn't know what to buy with it I reluctantly gave a beggar who also collected it with a scornful look.

Lol. I can bet u, the only tin that 50naira note can get for u is a sachet of water. 50naira is gone as far as Nigeria is concerned. 100naira note could get u tinx like groundnut. But mind u, the quantity of the groundnut go shock u.

N10. Been a while.
N20: early this year
N50 : yesterday

I got it from First bank on broad street, about a month ago. So it has been useful. Especially when I want to collect change etc
With the way things are going . I don't think they will be printing 50 naira again . Even 100 naira in circulation has dropped....

Ideally we should print N2000, N5000 and N10000 bank notes. Unknowledgeable Nigerians will say it will cause inflation, but we have been using N1000 for like 15 years now, haven't we had inflation despite it!? The lower denominations from N100 and below should be changed to coins.

Any sound economist knows the denomination of the note is not the top 10 reasons why you will suffer inflation, so let's stop chasing shadows.

Tinubu is pulling Nigeria to prosperity according to the most useless president in Nigeria.

Accepted in churches and Muslims churches also.

I only use fifty Naira and above. I don't believe the others still exist. Maybe they are used in the north.

I've them in bundles.

Have bundles of N20 and N50 too.

In deep north people still spend it but that's because we are ignorant here of what's happening in larger Nigeria. We've no idea these notes are now totally useless. So we keep spending them in bulk.

Its seems all the 5s to 50s are all in the North 😭😭😭

If that 10k upward note is printed then believe me Nigeria is going in Zimbabwe direction... Nigeria leaders has not manage inflation well,..those coins and even 5 to 20 naira should not be worthless, atleast they should still be in used and supposed to be able to get somethings even if it's water or bread..

The last time I saw N5 and N10 was when I visited the museum. As for N20 and N100, that was when I visited grandma in the village.

It's become imperative that the CBN should start thinking in the direction of printing the 10k or 100k notes, because, after the natural phasing out of the aforementioned notes, N200 and N500 notes will follow.

N100 is the new N5
