a Nigerian working day and night shift in 2 different places na sufferhead. He is doing well no doubt but you are killing the body. I do not envy such people.

I rather work a shift do 12 to 16hours for 2 weeks and be off for another 2 weeks.

If I want to do a mortgage I can on a 150k home where houses are cheap in the suburbs
Go Zillow and seee houses sold for 90k to 120 or 150 and see if you won’t be able to See a house on a budget
It all about management
I’ve seen people with 200k a year and In debt and also people with less pay living their best life

Now, let me school you... paying house rent in the US is the most stupid thing to do. Money paid on house rent is money thrown away.
When you buy a house, you have investment and asset that increase in value year in years out, money paid in mortgage is money invested, when you want to sell the house, you get the money back with profit. Now being a house owner make you huge credit worthy to have access to bigger loan in case you are business oriented.
You can also pay off your house, retire in nigeria, rent the house out, make money in dollar while retiring in nigeria, that's what smart people do.
If house na $90k, bank wey go give you loan go dey charge interest naaa. That brings the payment up.

Then, try get married and have kids in the US, then you go know wetin dey sup with your $23 and hour job.
Again places that you see very cheap house, also have one of the cheapest job pays.

Yes people make $1k and hour, but its not always. It's mostly commissioned jobs. Like sales persons.
You could go to a client house and spent like 3-4 hours to sell equipment, like roofing, HVAC. I do HVAC. Sometimes you sell units up to $80k within 4-5 hours. And you get 10 percent.
That's $8k. But such big sales don't come all the time. But you can comfortable make between $5k -$10k every ery week.

You can be in so much debt but your credit score is 750 to 800 you can get anything you want in as much you can pay

Credit worthiness in America ties down to your credit score. And it key. You can have all the assets in the world and once they pull your credit and see it 500 or below forget it. No bank or institutions will want to do business with you That why when you go to banks, credit union, buy a house or a car the first thing they check is your credit score
Use google if I’m lying. Having assets is good but how many people want to be paying land tax. You think owning a home is just as simple as it is. It comes with it own disadvantages. I stay in a rented apartment. All I pay is my rent every other taxes is sorted out by who own the house which is non of my business. Many billionaires and millionaires don’t have real assets in America. They do in offshore countries due to the advantage of dollar to other currencies and tax invasion
For me I have my investment in Nigeria and don’t care about any other asset other than to hustle go home and retire. And for your info
Many america employees have what we call 401k which is pension and Medicaid for health
When you retire that what you live on
Wether you have assets or not you’re good to go. And for your info. I’m married and I’ve a child here in America. I work and my wife works too. And I’m still able to save. But I’ll send my kid back to naija to grow cause the system here give too much liberty to kids and makes them spoilt and do things you sef go de do wonder.

The more money you borrow, the more you lose your credit limit. [/b]I do a job where I have to run finances on people when they want to buy HVAC units. Some have maxed their limit, they can't get more loading or get finances. Not because you aren't paying the loans you take, but because you have no more asset to back it.
[b]Someone who has a house worth a million, has more credit limit than one who rents.
If i have a house worth $1 million, my credit ceiling will be wider than yours.
The more loans you take, the more your credit scores reduces.

Using dollar made in america to Invest in nigeria while working in America is a joke. Take $20k invest in nigeria, after 2 years the naira depreciation will make that $20k worth $5k if you try sell the investment t and convert it to dollar.
The smart way is, invest in America, retire in nigeria. No matter how naira depreciate, it doesn't concern you because exchange rate favors you.

These are NOT true when it comes to Credit scores. You're talking about credit limit with a specific Bank/Fin. Institution and he's talking about Credit Score which is more encompassing. An example is Robert Kiyosaki that uses Debts to acquire more Real Estate properties. His credit score is great as he has a means to pay back. Banks will keep giving you loans if you keep paying back as they're interested in their profits. Your credit score is a whole lot of more complex calculations and you renting does not mean you don't have good credit score.
