‘ The only thing attractive in Nigeria is Politics and Church; We need to turn Night vigils to Night shifts! We are not productive as a nation’- Peter Obi

This recent statement by the much loved former state governor and popular presidential aspirant has not gone down well with many pastors in Nigeria. Many have come out to attack him !

Is Peter Obi right? Has setting up churches become a means of survival and getting rich rather than truly serving God? Are churches holding too many programs like vigils? Is he still unhappy that despite the promises and prophecies of the church, he didn’t become the president of Nigeria? Has he lost faith in our church leaders?

Peter Obi is not serious with his life

Obi is just making a valid point. Some people are taking it personal.

He should go and start his own church if he cant handle the heat.

Obi is not angry with the any church. What he said is the truth, there are Nigerians that go to church every day and it affects them at work.

From work to church and you will see them sleeping at work the next day.
