there was no link between the activities in university and that of the society. University education became too separate from society. Critical positions were given to the most connected and popular people and not the most competent. So policies that would have placed intellect on a higher pedestal than fame, wealth and connections were all jettisoned.

If we notice, the generation called genz didn't take school on their heads, but they're far richer. They did tasks on the Web and sold their skills and competences abroad via freelancing. They bought crypto and did nfts. They are the ones talking about thousands of dollars when we hardly remember the current dollar conversion rate. Its all about application of the education

She is very right. In the 90s, our parents were in their 30s and 40s, middle class, and were able to buy houses and cars, but what is the case today? Youths are now in their 30s and 40s; some still live with our parents's and can't even buy a house.

Again this depends on your perspective. Smart farming for example which entails leveraging IT tools such as AI and IoT for farming efficiency is a smart approach to farming. If your understanding of smartness is restricted to cheating then you've got to be more opened minded
