The book (Bible) says only one God is true and is responsible for the creation of all things if so then who are the other gods?
Or let's just say where did the other gods come from?
And where are they now?
Have they gone to extinction?

Even atheists don't know any other God whenever they want to talk about their unbelief what comes to their minds is the God of Abraham, God of Israel and God of Jacob!

Most critics (atheists and agnostics) often raise objections about which God should be revered as Almighty so they try to speak for other gods claiming they are also Gods but when asked to go further by showing what these other gods said about their whereabout critics chicken out of such discussion.
So who are the other gods?
And how did people come to know them?

Esu is the Orisha of the cross roads....quite different from Satan or devil of the Christians. In Christianity the devil is often portrayed as a dual opposite of god. Which is very much absent in African mythology.

According to the Bible God made a proper introduction and became Abraham's friend but how did the other gods came about?

Then he as the Prince of Peace {Isaiah 9:6} will organize them to start a preaching campaign to gather all lovers of peace under one group {Isaiah 2:2-4; Micah 4:1-3} that is what will help sincere and honest hearted people to IDENTIFY the only true religion! Micah 4:16-18

Where are the other Gods today?

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has been given the most attention in fact even atheists who claims they don't believe in the existence of supernaturals always talk about what this God did in times past.
But what of the other Gods that people worshiped in ancient times?
Mankind has this long history of worship and Gods and no tradition escaped the idea of the supernatural so where are these other Gods today?

JW are right on this only that that One true God manifests as The Father, who shows Himself on the Throne in visions; The Word who veiled Himself in a human body on the earth; The Holy Spirit who relates with man as an invisible essence.


John.1.18 - No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
John.6.46 - Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

Isaiah (Isaiah 6:1-5) – Isaiah saw "the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up," and was overwhelmed by His holiness.

Please can you reconcile these verses with the verses you quoted.

Also, did Adam and Eve see God?

In the old testament, men could see God but in the new testament, no man could see God, why?

Is the God of the old testament the same as the God of the new testament?

Where are the other Gods?

Where are the Gods of the nations in the land of Canaan before the arrival of the Israelites?
