So I'm a bit confused with all the recent restrictions in place.

I want to fund my Nigerian bank dollar card to pay for a course online and someone advised that I ask the aboki bdc to transfer to my dom account instead of going to deposit the cash. I want to find out if anybody has done it recently and it worked. The money is less than $100.

How can I fund the card and will the dollar card work if I use it online?

Or buy $$$ from blackmarket and go to bank to deposit $$$

If you want to buy course i will show you an app where u signup and fund in naira then convert in the app to $$$ you will be given a virtual card which you card use to pay for the course at site like udemy.

Buy one of their virtual cards. Fund it with your provided nigerian account details and convert.

All done from your laptop

It’s easier than all this stress. Only bad thing is the exchange rates

As a software consultant and as one who have consulted for a few banks, here is my answer.

if you want to do usd transactions and you have a DOM account.
1: You can buy usd from aboki and deposit directly to your dom account. Your usd card can be processed anywhere that accepts usd transactions.
2: you can buy same USD from aboki that has the same bank as where your DOM account is, and he can make the transfer for you via intra bank transfer. So banks allow same bank transfer for usd. Especially Access bank. not advertising just saying.

3: if you want to use your naira account, most banks (gtb, access, providus etc) have a special master card that can allow you to to change from your naira to USD directly when paying a merchant that is processing usd transactions. and you can use that card for any transactions. Only caveat is that that there is a limit on how much you can spend monthly in usd and the rates are abit higher than the black market. its called a Platinum master card. You can even use it on most atms abroad to withdraw dollars from host country atms.

I have grey card and it doesn't work on udemy I tried using it to subscribe for Netflix, Netflix charged America rate instead of Nigeria rate of 2800 I was charged 7400 and my VPN must be on before I watch Netflix

I don’t understand the Netflix part. It’s a dollar card, loaded with dollars not naira. Nothing like nigerian rate.

You use naira card to pay in naira and dollar card to pay in dollars.

Sounds like you used a nigerian card to pay for foreign denominated services.

bro I use grey to pay for Netflix, normally them suppose charge me #2800, but I was charged 7500 naira America rate and befire I watch Netflix I go on VPN, to Any location for America before e go work
