Is there coach still there?
I doubt if he would be sacked. Not doing bad in world Cup qualifiers.

It may interest you to know that Yekini's favorite opposition was Ivory Coast. He scored more against them (7 in 8 games) than against any other opponents in his 37 goals journey across 62 NT games.

After CIV, it was Kenya (5 goals in 4 games).
He had a stint in CIV. That perhaps was the formula

Yekin foreign club career started in Ivory Coast, could that be a factor of understanding and exploiting their weaknesses or they were just giving him easier passage as solidarity 😂 am just being naughty o
I said this without reading your observation

Iwobi to the right here but at Fulham, he plays more from the left. But yes, his last 2 games saw him play from the right so to make this work in this fantasy setup, he is to be utilised just as effectively as we saw him used on the RW vs Crystal Palace last weekend.

Boniface in the SS role is possible. He just has to keep it simple and only take the necessary risks where possible. Also, not too many touches to avoid being frequently dispossessed.

Onyedika to sit deeper than Ndidi and orchestrate plays, receive from defence and transit vertically.

Ndidi to bring his Leicester role to this setup. Roam, advance and break lines vertically to provide passing options in advanced areas.

So yeah, a fine experimental fantasy setup. Let me add, one that I know Eguavoen will never try (Shock me).
Iwobi believes himself a midfielder, I won't argue that with him, but his best performances are predominantly on the wings of the pitch. If he can at least continue his ascent along that roles, maybe the world will appreciate him better.

Yes, Boniface's occupation of the AM role seems like an experiment, but he has technique to thrive there, at least on paper.

Good line up
But I kinda think Osimhen should sit this one out
Lets see other strikers play and show what they've got
As long as he is fit and available, Osimhen should be starting.

Ndidi is yet to give a good reason as to the why he shouldn't be starting games.

Ndidi keeps impressing me with his performances.

Kelechi Nwakali currently in action for Barnsley in the "World Class" EFL League one rated above the Turkish League in some people's books grin grin

He came in on 8mins due to injury to teammate Max Watters. Game currently at 18mins.

Cambridge leads 1-0 vs Nwakali's Barnsley.

Barnsley have equalised. It is now 1-1 8 mins after Nwakali came in.

Tbh, Nwakali has been near perfection in this "World Class" EFL League one fixture. Has been dropping a passing clinic since coming on.

With Nwabali, Ola Aina and Lookman out, I expect Eguavoen to try all other guys out.
My Preferred starting 11:

----- Boniface -- Sadiq Umar
Dele Bashiru ----- Chukwueze
-------------Onyedika
---------Alhassan -- Onyeka
--- Collins -- Osho -- Osayi-Samuel
---------------Okoye

With this line up Chukwueze would Captain. Or Onyeka.
