Barnsley fans have been waxing lyrical on twitter/X. Some even debunked the tales by OGN and some other Nigerian media outlets that Darrell Clarke complained about Nwakali calling him lazy and all that.

They said they know bcoz they are there firsthand and that Clarke's only concern with Nwakali was his fitness level which Nwakali worked hard to raise and that is why he earned near full mins today.

Was a swell interaction with some of them honestly.

See what one of them dropped on Nwakali's midfield showing today.... lol

Also said he does not like spending time debunking false news reports about him.

It is crazy honestly why people like Mowiz and his likes are so invested in spreading lies about this young man.

From their reports you will feel Clarke would never name Kelechi again to the bench but the opposite happened.

A Barnsley fan I chatted with today was so shocked hearing talks of their coach complaining about Kelechi saying none of such is happening at all. It is so funny.

Me I prefer truth... Kelechi haven't had the best of career progression but cooking up lies about the young man is pure evil and only exposes the malicious intents of these so called journos. Shameless lots.

It is shocking the amount of hate Kelechi Nwakali gets. He is really a talented guy and hardworking. Listening to him, you can feel his pains that he struggles to ignore the hatred against him.

Even the phone incident, he said he had an injury in the game and his friend was calling to find out the severity. Trying to turn off the phone, the camera picked it and the Nigerian hate mill journalists went all out to tarnish him.

As you said, shameless lots.

For Nwakali, you know the insults and disrespect i took from the likes of Charles Emeka and his gangs, but I had never lost hope in that young man. I am happy for him and every young man should learn a lesson from Nwakali's struggles

The origin of that hate stems from some of us rating him above these foreign borns based on talent.

The hype this Nwakali have received on this platform is unmatched so unfortunate that the best he can do is to laquish in league 1 where as he is supposed to playing in top or decent league been in his 20s

If he is that good as we try to paint him here he will be in top league or perhaps in a decent club. This scouts are not blind

Nobody hates an overhyped player that barely have done much to help himself

The guy is way below average, so many people hyping him are doing so out of sentiments nothing else

I wish you can talk about the massive negativity Kelechi Nwakali faces. As soon as someone says something good about him, you guys call it hype. Please.

Barnsley coach said "Kelechi is a technically gifted player and a great lad" shocked

We are disappointed in him, how can a coach open his mouth and mention Kelechi and gifted in the same sentence?...

Well the coach is probably the worst coach in the league and the least paid coach probably just a part time coach working night shifts at McDonalds, essentially he is saying bladderdash out of emotive bias typical of a low- level coach.
Abi sir komekn...
What do you think?

And this has always been my argument, and that is that Nwakali is a gifted player with a skill set none of our current midfielders possesses. I never said he was the best midfielder in the world.

Watching the ongoing UNL, I'm sad to tell myself the truth that it will be hard for an African country to win the World Cup. How can they defeat most of these European nations that plays like robot's?
Again, can't Africa have their own Africa Nations League? It will be nice watching an ANL Seeding A that consists of Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Cameroon, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt and S.Africa(because oh the sponsorship and media hype).
Ofcourse Ghana would be in Seeding C with the likes of Eswatini, Comoros, S. Sudan, Niger and their likes 🤣

Writing epistles for a player in 3rd tier league?
A player that has failed to cut it in Netherlands, Spain second tier league and even in Portugal?

You should understand that the talent and potentials are not there at all

Maduka Okoye: Here we go again...

All set to make his Super Eagles' competitive return after 2 years and nearly 11 months since the Tunisia game at Afcon 21 in January 2022.

In decent form in Serie A for Udinese, this is another chance for Maduka to show just how much tougher his skin has gotten in NT colors

Time will tell.

grin

I admire some folks spirit of loyalty on this board sha. Really can't believe some dudes actually have hope on Nwakali.

Nwakali ain't longer a kid in football, he is 26yrs old yet playing in 3rd tier league ordinarily should be meant for U17 players to honing their skills and developing their game.

His mates have gone far ahead of him. He ain't apparently gonna smell Eagles' call-up again, except he finds himself in at least in the championship.

It ain't crime to never give up on the lad and I genuinely respect those still have hope in him. What is so certain is; he ain't the Jigsaw we are missing in GWG at the moment!

Cape Verdean women really left a huge impression at the last Afcon edition (Afcon 2023 held in 2024).

The "protests" Cape Verde's non qualification is getting across twitter/X is hilarious.😂😂😂

The Goal: Several African Fans wanna see Cape Verdean ladies in the stands at the Afcon again to improve the aesthetics of the competition on TV whenever the camera man does his thing to the stands.🤣🤣🤣

I don laugh tire
