Meanwhile... let me say this now because I see that a few are already waiting to push this as the next agenda on our GK role.

I will scatter that table before you even set it up. Charlesemeka85, I know you are among.

So this is it.....

Even if Maduka Okoye drops a buffon world class performance vs Rwanda, I don't care!!! He will return to the bench as our second choice while Nwabali Stanley continues his deserved role as Super Eagles Number 1.

Thank you for reading. 😎

And this has always been my argument, and that is that Nwakali is a gifted player with a skill set none of our current midfielders possesses. I never said he was the best midfielder in the world.
E no tire you? 😂

I said it here once, let's call him up - just once or twice at least, make he play first. If he no impress then that's it. But people here no just wan see him name anywhere.

Oh you think someone like me and Mujtahida cares...if a player get eagles invite irrespective of the league na him eagles performance be Koko.....reason why I dey use my third eye dey look Boniface.

Emeka Ezeugo got invited from India league and made US 94 team...Uche Okafor was playing in a league I can't even remember...Thompson Oliha for sometime clubless .....Koko be say deliver in eagles colour if a player gets the opportunity

I watched Maduka keenly last season and his game against Cagliari which was the turning point.I'm still following him till date but fact he is not better than Nwabali in all ramifications

The truth is you must be performing at a top level to get a national team invite, if we start giving excuses for division 3 or farmers league fresh invitee into the team we might be giving chance for mago mago.
Oga 94 and 2024 are different era. The standard difference btw most league was not much.

I just dey wait for Tanimu 90 minutes performance...I go scatter this thread for the first time, hyping him....Nwakali review was a dig on kokmne and really surprised some took it serious.

TheSuperNerd report was aiming but thegoodjoe turned it to yes yes and some monikers like humility,Charlesbaba don't want to hear such...Kai division three player.

TheSuperNerd I thought you don retire from Nwakali matter
Kelechi Nwakali is a brilliant talent and one I hold dear to my heart. I honestly believe he has something to offer football and I hope for a bit of light for him.

I am not thinking Super Eagles. That ship sailed when Amunike was treated badly by the NFF. I don't even break my head for Super Eagles again. The NFF and co. can do what they like with it.

I just want to see Kelechi Nwakali show immense attitude in challenging situations. Emerge from it and shine. A Player of the Match performance certainly fits into this prism.

I wonder why TheSuperNerd reporting that Kelechi Nwakali finally gets good minutes and was very impressive bites people.

Oya rate Tanimu and Osho in eagles colour😎......my point is opportunity not lowering invitation standard.

Yes it would be difficult for a player in lower league to get invitation but if opportunity permit and he did well then no wahala

Thanks again Basco for always coming through with the highlights for those of us too busy or occupied to watch live.

Nice play from Bruno probably his best performance in the SE so far. Osimhen's missed chance in the 1 half denied him a well deserved assist. With more performances like this I think he will have the LB position on lockdown. Probably needs to improve in the physical battles more still looks slightly lightweight to me.

Aina and Bassey look seriously off colour defense wise. Need to do better especially for next years high pressure WC qualifiers.

Attack wise Osimhen was the only consistent threat. Yes he missed a sitter but made up for it with his crucial goal towards the end. Honestly our other forwards need to come to the party so we don't turn into a mostly Osimhen and Inshallah team.

S. Moses well done. I'm one of his biggest critics on these streets but he has become more reliable lately and understands his game better and how it impacts the team's performance. Hope Chukwueze is taking notes.

Condolences to Nwabobo on the loss of his father. May God give him and his family comfort at this trying time. To his performance no sugarcoating it Stanley was largely at fault for the conceded goal. A mistake let's be honest we would have dragged Okoye and Uzoho centuries for. I guess Nwabali's consistent performances for the SE since his debut this year has(deservedly in my opinion) earned him some reprieve but he should watch it because someone is waiting in the wings if too many blunders become part of his game.

Monday's game is for all intents and purposes a competitive friendly for us so I would like to see AE give the likes of Onyedika, Yusuf, Osho, Boniface/Sadiq etc a good run out. No need to stress Osimhen and Lookman we know their quality already.
for Osimhen should start we need him to continue scoring

At all at all he is playing and performing, that's all for me... Play, perform, get confidence, get more confident, be unbenchable and we shall see... Most important right now is to keep playing.

I just realized dt throughout dis year even late last year ,super eagles have failed to win an away match ..this trend is worrisome going into 2026 World Cup qualifiers…d coaching crew needs to sit down and find a solution to dis .

Don't want him picking up an unnecessary injury hence my reason for him sitting this game out but AE has the final call.

Maybe I skipped some comments cos I'm still searching for the recent hype of Kelechi outside supernerd reporting about his performance for his club after a long while. This is witchcraft oh. Seems some here derive joy seeing the guy fail, Nobody asked for his recall to super eagles. Emeka always looking for every opportunity to ridicule the young man, even when nobody talks about him you find a way to bring negative news about him. Now someone is reporting something pos about him your body begin scratch you.
You get correct sense.

When he reports others plying in backwater turkey league that league 1 is better than no complaints but when he reports another because of seeming hate or probably a coping mechanism for disappointment then they'll turn red with shame.

Hopefully they turn purple from embarrassment too to complete the whatever they are feeling.

For some reason after the AFCON the team lost its defensive resoluteness.

On average we still score goals almost every game but we need to do a better job shutting the door at the back.

So with Nwakali dropping MOTM in League one in his first full game, can order finally be restored and admission come now that Turkey is levels above league one? Gentleman, do we all agree? 😁

Peeps on here don't need to get triggered whenever positive reports about Nwakali is mentioned here.

The guy that dropped the report on Nwakali yesterday already said he's retired from clamoring for his call up to the National team. He made that clear.

To be fair, the same guy usually drops report from even unknown Nigerian players from the Finnish, Moldovan, Cypriot and Latvian league all the time without people getting triggered.
This is absolutely spot on. more backwater league reports have been dropped here and heaven did not fall.

It wasn't a clamour for call up but a harmless match report.

When same people were reporting about him being superglued with aradite on the bench nobody turned brown but just a good report was turning them red.

I can bet with anything that those sets of persons are not even in the best in their professions. If they're to rate them in their profession they might not be in top 100 grouping but why not, there's somebody to bash to make them feel good.

Honestly I don't rate Taminu and for Osho I felt he was rushed into starting that away game, can't say anything about his rating until maybe after the ruwanda game if he play.
For national team invitation except you are an upcoming star, you can't tell in the whole country a division 3 player ( Taminu) is the best we can offer

Watching the ongoing UNL, I'm sad to tell myself the truth that it will be hard for an African country to win the World Cup. How can they defeat most of these European nations that plays like robot's?
Again, can't Africa have their own Africa Nations League? It will be nice watching an ANL Seeding A that consists of Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Cameroon, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt and S.Africa(because oh the sponsorship and media hype).
[b]Ofcourse Ghana would be in Seeding C with the likes of Eswatini, Comoros, S. Sudan, Niger and their likes
🤣
🤣🤣🤣And they will still not qualify.
