Then you have to understand and stop being played by the buzzwords of the 2 parties. Democrats calling themselves party of the working when they have a lot of billionaires supporting them and making the policies.

That is also one thing the average voter saw and felt they were just being deceived all the years, Trump a billionaire now appears to be the working class candidate and Kamala the billionaire and establishment candidate.

I am not against the richest getting to influence politics, I think its idealistic to think otherwise. Money buys you influence.
Kamala or Trump will give audience to a billionaire before any of us here. They probably wont hear what any of us have to say. There are certain fats of life you have to make peace with and that is one of them. Rich people use their wealth to buy influence. It is what it is
Don't get me wrong, I think that specific critique of the Dems is a valid one, however don't take it as an endorsement of the GOP, the party that's completely and totally captured by corporate interest and the oil lobby. The party working to loosen child labor regulation, tax cuts for the wealthy, and for union busting. They are good at populist messaging compared to the Dems that are allergic to it, but it's empty, they have nothing to back it up.
The Democrats even with their flaws and stubbornness are still more amicable to being pushed in the right direction.

On principle then someone with my position has a more valid complaint about someone like elon musk influencing politics, than someone with your position complaining about Gorge Soros.

Lastly I reject the "There are certain facts of life you have to make peace with and that is one of them. It is what it is" Sentiment. People thought that about Monerchies, about slavery. These are all just systems that are the creation of man, we have and can always form and push for better ones.

I forgot you have little understanding of US politics.
That you think Republicans care about the working class says it all.
Google Trickle Down Economics.
Or better yet try to find any bills the Republicans have passed in the last 20 years that benefit the lower or middle class.
Or look at their push to kill labor unions which led to the growth of the middle class.
Or their push to kill overtime.
Or their push to kill workers protection regulations
Or their resistance to increase the minimum wage
Or the deregulations for Wall St.
Or just look at their push to loosen child labor laws in favor of business.
All these policies do one thing. Favor business profits over the workers.

You sound like a politics neophyte and a political illiterate.
I can't take you seriously.
You should get a US Politics for Dummies book to figure out what party believes what.
The fact you’re quoting Alex Finch from AP the same person that was part of the people who claimed Tulsi Gabbard is a Russian spy shows how stupid you’re and little you know about mal-information. If you actually want to know the reason why Republican are loosening the grip on child labour laws you would but you don't want to escape your bubble. Like I've always said I'm not even a Republican - I just believed all political parties have big flaws of but you're a Democrat who believes Dems are for the working class and you can't even defend your party, isn't that hypocritical and senseless. Like I've been saying you're a bot who just repeats what your party wants you to think. Think for yourself for once in your life. Your party said killing unborn babies is awesome and your wiring tells you you should believe that. You can't even explain why Dems are for the working class because you haven't been programmed to explain

I think what I said was very pointed, and not "trying to shame white conservatives as Nazis"
You used a very specific descripter of "extreme far-right racists" not conservatives.
It's like try distinguish between Skinheads and the kkk.

The current Vatican is extremely conservatives, but lack the rhetoric, nationalism, racism, racial superiority and antisemitism to be called Nazis, and are even more lenient in religious tenants compared to American evangelicals.
Now the early 20th century Church did allie with the Nazis.

I have not disputed that Atzov, hamas, or hezbolla have similar ideological leanings to Nazis either.
Any example of an European extreme far right org and their policies? Be specific. Also name far right and centre right within Europe.

Give an instance under Trump's presidency were only wealthy people benefitted from his tax cuts and it didn't affect middle class workers?
You keep repeating exactly the same lies with no evidence because you're party tells you what to think.
Have you ever gone to another source why some Republicans (which are mostly old Republicans like Mike Pence) want Union busting - you actually dont - you only report from sources that are totally bias for Democrats. Unlike you - I actually try to understand the news from different sources both the left and right because I'm neither. The Democrats have been in power for 12 years in the last 18 why have they not cut taxes from the rich or do the wonderful tax cuts for poor and middle class individuals until Trump created it - the only thing they have actually done that even was a bad investment was given aids to people all the time increasing inflation and making sure black people don't want to work because they believe they didn't have to. Ask yourself this question- what have they not don't this wonderful things for the past 12 years?

Al Gore is getting worked up because
Trump won't fund new green deals.
Latest cop29 was about climate financing from the west because of carbon dioxide.
Clearly the aim of the climate change religion is to neuter fossil fuels and hence control energy .

Former US Vice President Al Gore slammed the fossil fuel industry in a fiery speech at the COP29 summit in Baku, claiming that officials in the sector are "way better at capturing politicians than emissions."

Mr Gore, a US climate activist, urged delegates to come to solutions rather than bow to political and industrial pressure.

"We just have to decide how long the world is going to cower in front of the financial and political power of the fossil fuel industry. If we can find it within ourselves, in every country, to come together and make

I politely requested Ijebos to let us know whether Trump tax cuts affected him. He completely refused despite me requesting him for weeks on end.
Those who earn below $10K annually saw no change and also those in the $35K band. Everyone else I believe from Google searches got a break
Ijebos never got so you can determine how much he makes from his excel sheets.
If he got a cut he can never admit it because of his TDS.

Some times you just have to despise liberal lefties.
The University of Maryland is slated to offer an “Intro to Fat Studies” course in the upcoming spring semester that will focus on “Fatness, Blackness and Their Intersections.”

The three-credit class, which is offered through the Harriet Tubman Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS), “[e]xamines fatness as an area of human difference subject to privilege and discrimination that intersects with other systems of oppression based on gender, race, class, sexual orientation, and ability.
Sydney Lewis, a senior lecturer with the Department of WGSS, will lead the introductory course this spring in Susquehanna Hall.

Lewis’s research experience consists of topics including “African American/African Diaspora,” “Black Feminist Thought,” “LGBTQ Studies,” and “Queer Theory.”

Lewis’s teaching methods aim to “blur the boundaries between the academy, art, and activism,” as mentioned in her university biography. “Her areas of interest include gender performance and performativity, black feminist theory and culture, and intersectional black liberation.”

Just because you said something doesn’t make it true.
He stole national security secrets and held them at his private residence. Who lied about that? He used campaign funds to pay hush money to a sex worker. Was that a lie too? Just opening your mouth doesn’t mean whatever you say is meaningful.

Every charge against him was something he did. And I bet he surely did more. I know charges weren’t brought against him for those because they always need strong evidence before proceeding. Unlike you guys that just say unfounded things and run with it true or not.

I do not mind Soros being in politics as long as we have Musk doing the same. The hypocrisy is closing your eyes to Soros and condemning Musk.

What exactly have Democrats done for the working class. Note they have governed for 12 of the last 16yrs. Are the American working class better for it? Desiring a return to their Democratic policies?

When you realize all those with Billionaires are evil messaging will rather hang around billionaires and take their evil money than around you the people until they need your votes

All these same politicians including Bernie got rich and are millionaires from politics. The climate change activists fly on gas guzzling private jets.

I said the GOP, but you're ask for trump specific examples. This goes back all the way to Reagan and Trickle Down economics.

Here's your trump example.
"The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) was a major overhaul of the tax code, signed into law by President Donald Trump on Jan. 1, 2018."
"Effects on Individuals: ... The highest earners were expected to benefit most from the law, while the lowest earners were believed to pay more in taxes after individual tax provisions expire in 2025."
https://www.investopedia.com/taxes/trumps-tax-reform-plan-explained/

I can critique the Democrats, and how infective they've been, and how some of their policies contain bad incentives that will lead to negative outcomes, because I'm not a neolib.
The Democrats are incapable to pushing for economic reform, because they're also captured by capital interest, not to the same extent as Republicans. So all their solutions are just bandages.
It's the difference between ACA/Obamacare, compared to a Leftwing populist bill, "Medicare for all".
The ACA is still better than nothing, and when compared to the Republicans on the subject of American Healthcare which they have nothing.

"I listen to both sides" and you just parrot rightwing talking points.
When was the last time any of you didn't just fall in line to whatever Trump and your talking heads say, and actually had a thought that didn't tow the party line?

It is actually a movement that started in Arkansas, Iowa, New Jersey and New Hampshire (the last 2 states are Democrats!) to make it easier for kids from 14 to 17 years old to work longer and later – and in occupations that were previously off-limits for minors to allow young adults to develop their skills in the workforce.”
In the 8 states that tried to re-enact it - they were losing almost 46% of their workforce in the manufacturing, agriculture and mining business to white-collar jobs in the city so they wanted to ensure the young generation could develop skills like working in the farms with permission from their parents and for extra working hours if they wanted to. The articles made it look like they were forcing poor kids to work when in fact they were trying to ensure legacies in the deep South don't die out because when this kids grow to 18 they lose interest in actual farm work and blue collar jobs. The law also ensured the young adults are still paid minimum wages or even more if it's a company.

😂😂😂 Dems are not for billionaire funding but billionaires funded up to 400 million of their campaign budget😂 and I hope you know 70% of Trump's campaign was funded by normal people. Trump raised 15 million dollars in 24 hours after his mugshot was released.
80% of US billionaires have given to the Democrats for the last 6 elections and you're really saying they're not the elitists 😂
you sincerely don't know shit about history. Israel has always been one state. In 2004 - Israel decided to transport 10,000+ of their citizens away from Gaza for peace sake even though they didn't need to. Instead of living peacefully - Hamas took over Gaza and kept on building missiles for years against the law they signed. Why would you live with an enemy that wants to kill your whole citizenry in your backyard? If Hamas doesn't wave a white flag they should all be tracked down and killed

This post and picture is a pure example of Contradictions.
You have the HHS secretary who said he wants to ban preservatives and make America healthier posing with McDonalds.
The Working Class Champion on a Private jet with the wealthiest Person on the planet.
And Jon Jones who just bashed someone's face in proclaiming he is a Christian.

Damn, Republicans are stupid people.
😂😂😂 the enjoyment I'll have for this kind of rants for the next 4 years will be pure fun. You actually think RFK Jr shouldn't take a hamburger EVER because he wants people to be healthy.

you're an idiot and a dumb ass.
That's a thread I created 4 years ago and you just confirmed your dumbness by referencing it to this thread.
Now I understand how slow your brain is and I'm not surprised by your political preference.
Nitwit
So, 4 years ago you needed 35k to cover your "serious issues"?
And now, 4 years later you're a Nairaland Billionaire?

The point is that people in glass mansions shouldn't throw stones.
It has always amazed me that the most destitute here are the first to bring up other people's wallets.

Yes, it's called living by example to change people's behavior.
The same reason Biden wore masks everywhere during the Pandemic.

I can't with you.
I'm glad you aren't anywhere near Governance.
