Watching the ongoing UNL, I'm sad to tell myself the truth that it will be hard for an African country to win the World Cup. How can they defeat most of these European nations that plays like robot's?
Again, can't Africa have their own Africa Nations League? It will be nice watching an ANL Seeding A that consists of Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Cameroon, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt and S.Africa(because oh the sponsorship and media hype).
[b]Ofcourse Ghana would be in Seeding C with the likes of Eswatini, Comoros, S. Sudan, Niger and their likes🤣
🤣🤣🤣And they will still not qualify.

Maduka Okoye: Here we go again...

All set to make his Super Eagles' competitive return after 2 years and nearly 11 months since the Tunisia game at Afcon 21 in January 2022.

In decent form in Serie A for Udinese, this is another chance for Maduka to show just how much tougher his skin has gotten in NT colors

Time will tell.
I'm rooting for him

Meanwhile... let me say this now because I see that a few are already waiting to push this as the next agenda on our GK role.

I will scatter that table before you even set it up. Charlesemeka85, I know you are among.

So this is it.....

Even if Maduka Okoye drops a buffon world class performance vs Rwanda, I don't care!!! He will return to the bench as our second choice while Nwabali Stanley continues his deserved role as Super Eagles Number 1.

Thank you for reading. 😎
Abeg oo. If Maduka performs, I don't mind either of them being the number one. Nwabali needs stiff competition and the No. 1 is not his property.

And I'm saying this as one who is not particularly a fan of Okoye but I'm mindful of the crucial importance of a good GK

There is need in this case and it goes beyond pettiness. We are setting the records straight.

On a flip note, nothing wrong in reporting that a player was MOTM in a league one fixture naa. Even if na Tanimu, we should report it.

Truidstarr:
Komekn is well known and no be today. No need for the pettiness.

Competition is welcome and Okoye has a chance to show us how tough he's gotten between the sticks but what is clear is Nwabali has proven to be very reliable both in regulation and in P.S.O.

Nwabali is our number 1 and it would take more than keeping a cleansheet vs Rwanda to take that tag off Nwabali.

I think I have followed lots of conversations about nwakali on here and they look like favoritism, there are lots of players on good form both home and abroad only for people to be bringing washed up player to every discussion.

Nwakali did well and that it is.
I have seen better performances while he plied his football in the Portuguese top flight.
It is just that his actions in defense is becoming more impressive.

Nwakali is technically gifted. Those words were said by his coach.

The NPFL action today is hot!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Shooting Stars leading away at Ikorofu City FC

Abia Warriors and Enyimba currently tied at 1-1.

Heartland FC is somehow leading in Kano 2-1 against Kano Pillars complete with Ahmed Musa.

Reigning Champs, Enugu Rangers up 2-0 vs Bendel Insurance.

Below is the matchday poster for Abia Warriors vs Enyimba. A fantastic depiction of the clash

Exactly.... Imagine his first order of business was to rename his team captain. Even when Ekong was on top of his game. A whole player of the tournament O! What level of disrespect could be higher than that? Well sha, make we nor too complain. What's past is past

For some reason after the AFCON the team lost its defensive resoluteness.

On average we still score goals almost every game but we need to do a better job shutting the door at the back.
For a team that has conceeded only one goal

You sure say you know wetin you dey talk,👀

Kano Pillars equalise again in Kano through Ahmed Musa. They no wan lose for Kano shaa. Lol (ONLY REMO STARS HAVE BEATEN THEM IN KANO THIS SEASON).

Remo vs Rivers is a clash of the top 2 teams in the NPFL. Daniel Ogunmodede vs Finidi George. Still goalless.

They secure a 2-2 result away at Kano Pillars.

Look at fine graphics. Roman soldier, elephant, majestic. Then the ugly excuse for Abia warriors club crest ruins everything

I don't see what's ugly about a team with "warriors" in their name having a badge depicting a shield and two swords.

I can hardly think of a more fitting image.

I was talking more specifically just after AFCON during the Finidi era.

Hopefully AE can maintain that solidity into next year's WC qualifiers cos we have no more room for mistakes.

Shooting Stars and Unambitious like 5&6

Yet they no go ever relegate.

They be like the Everton of NPFL. undecided undecided undecided

All they know is sooting sooting chants. NOTHING to write home about in the 21st century. Which kine mediocre mindset dey that club sef? Same for their Star brothers from Akure. Those ones still try small.

That club needs some miracle to elevate status the way Mou and Abramovich did for Chelsea. Smh

A club crest is not a biology practical exam drawing where aesthetics doesn't matter. Club crest are a work of art.

Just look at examples of shield & sword combo. Even my crest on dreamLeague soccer modern pass that na. Clubs modernize their crest from time to time

This current team is difficult to beat..
I have been shouting this since AE took over..
Any team that beats us would have to work their socks off..
And our players would need to have a very bad day for that to happen..

I honestly don't see Rwanda scoring..
They need a win, so they will come out to play..
This is exactly what AE's team thrives on.. space
We will kill Rwanda tomorrow

Heartland didn't win eventually. Kano Pillars equalised again and it ended 2-2.
