Acting on a tip-off that Nigerian nationals residing in two rental flats in Shirke Building in Dharna Camp, Taloja, were indulging in drug peddling, the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) team of the Navi Mumbai Crime Branch carried out a raid on Saturday.

They arrested two Nigerian men who were found to have stocked Mephedrone and cocaine collectively worth Rs 5.62 crore.

Sandeep Nigade, Senior Inspector of ANC, informed that the arrested Nigerian nationals have been identified as Onyeka Hillary Illodinso (25) and Chidiebere Christopher Muoghalu (40). The authorities confiscated 2.42 kg of Mephedrone and 174 grams of cocaine.

The accused Nigerians were residing in the rental flat even after the expiry of their passport and visa.

Consequently, the two flat owners, Ramesh Pawshe and Namdev Thakur, have also been made co-accused for not providing the rental agreement documents to the local police station.

The arrested Nigerian men were remanded to police custody until Tuesday, November 19. The co-accused flat owners will be summoned for inquiry and served with a notice for not abiding by the law while renting their flats to Nigerian nationals.

JASONjnr:
Seeing the carrier of the post @LegendHero I knew this was to spite Igbos....

Dude's a complete deadbrain and a bigot......

Just know that, Tinubu will be out of office and the North will assume office again and they know their true enemy.

You just called Kwankwaso a mad man.....😊😊😊
Please, I'm a bit confused here. Did you read the report? If you did, then, how is the carrier trying to spite igbos?

Is it that there was no such occurrence but a fabrication of the carrier?

This is a report about illicit dealings in narcotics. Now I ask, is it that the carrier of any report on illicit narcotics deals is trying to spite igbos. Please just an innocent question.

Because if what you and your ilk are saying is anything to go by, Tinubu is the narcotics dealer you know. Or is Tinubu an Igbo man?

No surprise here...

Children learn from their fathers..

What do you expect from them when the father of the nation is/was a Notorious Drug Baron...

That he even forfeited almost half a million dollars to the US government...

Our Youths should look for better role models and not these criminals in the corridors of power.
