No Tapsoba, No Ouattara, No Bertrand, No Kabore. This is their spine.

Burkina Faso didn't field their strongest XI as qualification is long secured. They even have an Ousmane Camara (18) starting and dorning #10. Same talented kid who played U17 Wafu B and U17 Afcon and U17 WC just last year.

Starting XI according to owngoalnigeria

Maduka Okoye
Osayi-Samuel
Bruno Onyemaechi
William Troost-Ekong
Gabriel Osho
Frank Onyeka
Fisayo Dele-Bashiru
Alhassan Yusuf
Moses Simon
Kelechi Iheanacho
Victor Boniface

I like the midfield
And that Osho is starting again
But Chukwueze should have started instead of Iheanacho
And I have a feeling that Boniface will get his first goal for the Super Eagles today
No taste of action yet for Sadiq Umar, Chukwueze and Collins the Local based Guy. But it's all good if true.

Our 013 U17 squad was fire, but our 015 set has given us more quality talents. That 015, (including the dropped players) currently has 3 good players in the super eagles today in Osimhen, Chuks and Osho, and we should not also forget that Nwakali got some caps too
Don't forget Kingsley Michael. He would still be in the team if he didn't have that serious injury

The journalist asked what?
They asked Ekong when will he retire from National duty so others can fill in the gap. 😂😂😂😤

Of all questions to ask under short notice, that's the most important? Same will go elsewhere and pen one long article on Ronaldo still playing

🚨 Victor Osimhen will be available for £62.7m in the summer, as per his Napoli release clause.

I'm just happy for Simon. Since he began to do the simpler things, he's been raking up assists that change the gap for the team. He sees that now and is making the simple more consistent every game.

That's the difference between Nigeria and most other African teams. The Talent pool depth.

Unlike Nigeria, Senegal, CIV, Morocco... Burkina faso like most other African sides cannot convincingly present a strong second XI.

Eguavoen likes him..
Chuks would come in too .

I'm happy Osimhen is being rested

3 assists in his last 4 GWG caps agree with your observation.

If only the RWs have sense too. We don't even need Aina to Overlap to cross. Let that RW do likewise like Simon. And Aina can be at the back waiting for a backpass at the edge of the box for a cross as well.

I pray he's fit for the AFCON. I want him there when we win it.

It seems ScoreNigeria got the right XI.

OGN was correct for 10names except Onyedika. They put in Onyeka.

SoarSuperEagles have made the same mistake too.

This is the Official XI.

This team is so makeshift, weak central defending partnership no ball retention in midfield, lazy attack. I'm not watching

Onyedika provides the ball retention in the middle. Onyeka isn't starting.

From 2013 set , we had Ndidi who failed MRI , kelechi Iheanacho, Taiwo Awoniyi, Uzoho, Isaac Success. All played for the national team.

The 2013 teams still supercedes the 2015 for me

Not forgetting Saviour Godwin and Dele Alampasu
Aswear you know ball. God my love for Isaac Success was crazy. Injuries messed up my boy. E pain me. cry

Chukwueze should be starting ahead of Iheanacho on that right wing. This should be a no-brainer.

It seems Eguavoen is yet to recover from the euphoria of Nacho's volley goal against Egypt.
