Shows how weak our league is.

Alhassan Yusuf is there with his insane workrate and cerebral movements. Only that Alhassan will likely be the progressor on the ball from the middle third with Onyedika providing the switch plays and transition recycling as the #6.

Alhassan isn't the strongest in duels (his weakness due to his size) but his workrate to win/initiate possession and progress the ball is quite noted.

Subzerooo:
Slight improvement, but Onyedika needs a partner to retain the ball with

This team is so makeshift, weak central defending partnership no ball retention in midfield, lazy attack. I'm not watching
This might be our strongest midfield combo at the moment though I am yet to be 100% convinced on Bashiru's creativity. I hope he convinces me today.

Ndidi and Iwobi need to be slowly moved to bench roles. Age has caught up with them.

No.
You should expect a game of sleek passes.
Onyedika and Alhassan are very good in the game of passing,

Onyedika and Alhassan are also good at duels.
Expect them to cover grounds and win duels.

Also expect some creativity from the duo.
Their partnership I have for long hankered.

Iheanacho and Fisayo will not do much defensively, but offensively they can be handful.

He said his thoughts with Onyeka in mind.

He didn't know Onyedika was starting at the time.

And yes, Onyedika-Alhassan midfield partnership will be very sleek today. I expect a good midfield clinic from the duo with FDB operating further forward. Funny how two talented lads who used to produce solid midfield battles back in Belgium (Brugges vs Antwerp) finally get to play together on the same team from the start at the same time.

Alhassan in our best midfield combo una, I'll be there for his disasterclass and for Dele Bashiru, Iwobi trumps him in all aspects except goalscoring, so no Sir this is not our best midfield combo

Kelechi has no business in this current SE setup. He’s just out of form. He and Sadiq.

I’d rather we called up some different attackers to try different personnel/ tactics

if iheanacho puts a decent shift and we win this game= “He is still not good because this is a dead rubber match”
if we lose or draw to Rwanda with iheanacho in the fray
= “that guy is washed, imagine struggling with common Rwanda”
its well

Okay.

Let's see how Onyedika-Alhassan patnership will pan out.
