Well, I sincerely wanted a cleansheet for Maduka Okoye because I wanted us to win. But I hope with this now, "Ndi Maduka must start ahead of Nwabali" will rest comfortably on this Super Eagles Number 1 matter. Nwabali remains our Number 1. |

Carelessness is the word, both the players and the coaches should take responsibility. The foreign coach advocates will be back. |

Goke7:It's only natural that foreign coach advocates will talk. Barring Eguavone's first match against Benin which he won 3 nil. Every other games have been a struggle. We couldn't beat Rwanda away, we scraped past Libya , we drew Benin on a neutral ground and here we are struggling at home to Rwanda again. How different will it be for the world cup where we now need an almost perfect result to qualify . I sincerely doubt we could have beaten Libya on their home if we had played the match. Judging by all this results |

Unpopular take: We won't be here wondering who will be our substantive coach if we had just given Amunike the Job in the very first place and not wasted our time moving from Finidi and now to Eguavoen whi tried to steady the ship a little but still doesn't convinces 100% in the tactical and game management aspects. It is unpopular but I am super convinced it is the truth. TheGoodJoe and I stand on this hill. Goke7: |

Given the humongous hole that these guys have to dig for WC qualification, I think it is safe to say that 2026 is gone. |

Samueltemi337:Technical input is lacking Its not just by line ups and substitutions Specific instructions and setup lacking We have a coaching problem AE is a great motivator and man manager, but poor tactically |

True and it is clear that even with Eguavoen's efforts on the foundation of his good mind and trying to help, we possibly won't help us get the WC ticket. I think we may have missed the WC ticket the moment we gave Finidi that job in the first place. That was a huge mistake. They should have given the better man the job. elyte89: |
