Most entered the US through legit visas like F1, visitors, others crossed the US-Mexican borders after sailing the 7 seas. Issue is, for those with visas, most of those visas are now expired or the holders are abusing/ violating the terms of the visa when issued, especially as it relates to working/ earning money. Truthfully, this isn’t unusual for immigrants coming from developing countries, irrespective of how.

How do they get a job? Well, they get under the table jobs where they are paid cash but relatively low wages. If the normal wage for someone who can work legally is $15/ hr, someone without work authorization can get paid $5-6/hr or even lower in cash. These sort of jobs don’t require background checks or running I-9s or any applicable formal process.

For example, the African stores where I shop, I know they hire a lot of Nigerians/ Africans and pay them under the table (cash). Some work using the SS numbers of Americans; they earn the normal wage but they split the wage with the real owner of the SS number. The issue is that the Govt is cracking down really hard on SS scams, if you are caught in that one, na deportation straight, dem no dey even debate that one. The American involved gets serious jail time.

Again, I am not here to bash anyone, life na hustle. However, like my original post said, if anybody sabi say dem no legit, you better lay as low as you can and avoid wahala. For the most part, the US will not bother you as an illegal, if you don’t stress them. If you stress them because u get into any kain wahala where they start digging into your records/ immigration status, na deportation straight.

Immigration policies and the strength of its application is mirrored by the Government/ President that is in power. As we know, Trump campaigned and has doubled down on mass deportation from day 1 and I believe him. Also, those who are going through the immigration process in Nigeria better triple their prayers/ fasting or whatever, because I can assure you that denials go triple for a lot of visa categories once baba start him 2nd missionary journey.

There is some talk about tinkering with spectrum sales to the networks and barring pharma ads on the networks (something like a third of ad spend is from Big Pharma).
I'm always concerned about using the government to make unprecedented moves.
With lawfare, they did it first, so I have no qualms returning the favor.
But with the media, I'd prefer we kept at the current strategy. As you say, strengthen the alt media while the likes of MSNBC and CNN hemorrhage viewers.

But it's going to be grueling.
The major problem we have with legacy media is that they're captured. ABC is Disney. CBS is Paramount. NBC is Comcast.
Elon had to overpay for the hostile takeover of Twitter.
Even if you get a consortium to buy out Paramount, there's still the brigade of publications. From Salon to Politico.

I really do hope Trump does not overextend himself trying to put out too many fires at the same time.
The border. The economy. The lawfare and the blob. Prioritize.
The Alt media will have to do the heavy lifting for the time being.

Yeah and It is worth noting that the Constitution adds that if the House and Senate cannot agree on how long to adjourn, then the president has the authority to adjourn the entire Congress and also to set the date that members will reconvene, specifically providing that “he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper.”

So if one chamber is willing to adjourn for at least 10 days but the other is not, it is conceivable that the president could adjourn them for, let’s say, 11 days, and make recess appointments during that time.

Trump will get his picks this time around... Just wait until he gets into power.
