M7even:Morocco is in another level of African football right from how they performed in the Olympics. They are the only team that got maximum 18 points in their group with a superior monstrous goal difference of 26. Beating Lesotho at home by 7-0. While we drew against them and still saying we should give our coach time. |

The former Senegalese coach Aliou Cisse is still available, why can't NFF be serious and go for him? Either that or they come out clear and announce Eguavoen as substantive coach before the end of November! |

Why is it that it's whenever the super Eagles loss or draw a game that we see all sort of new monikers coming here with ridiculous suggestions? Somebody was saying we should recall Musa and Moses .. Now, another is saying we should discard half the team and fill their place with Academy players? Na wa o 🤣 |

Meliforme:you will only end up having nothing, when any slight 1-1 will make you rubbish the team…no need to sugar coat your aim of criticizing the team, the kinda criticism here makes people come to feel as if super eagles is Gibraltar 🇬🇮 or Georgia 🇬🇪 ….if this team wins another match tomorrow they will suddenly be the best…. una severe criticism makes them better per game…cant you people maintain their betterment for a long period wether lose, draw or win….your most loved football club will lose scandalously to one ekuke team, if another fan come to shade them for losing you will defend them as the best and refer their past games where they were sweeping teams aside. Chelsea fans especially..just watch and see how their Nigerian based fans defend their failure instead of severe criticism…una turn super eagles to Germany. This is Africa whether we play against 126th ranked team or not, we are familiar foes…every top nations experience loss within their confederation due to see finish and regular meeting of each other |

Danielnino00:Asssiiiiiiiin eeehhnnn so so so annoying meehn…i agree that we should criticize the team and not telling one cock and bull analysis….bring academy boys to play Rwanda wey need win to qualify, and also topping afcon group. once we lose like this super eagles is the most irritating national team in the world….all i know is that this super eagles with a right and discipline formation is still the same super eagles that got to afcon final |

if i be AE i would announce my stepping aside this morning and being in the technical whatever i will ensure the federation goes for the best of the best coaches around africa, europe or south america…lets see the magic he will perform for the WCQ(offcus i will still support whosoever takes the job). if the new coach comes in, let him bring in all the u20 academy player to face rwanda in march. i will be so glad if those academy u20 players qualify us(offcus i will support them wholeheartedly) |

minfelix:don't you see other national teams playing with purpose? Do you feel any sort of pride in sitting down and watching the super eagles drag out results match in match out? I follow bafana pages on Facebook, I follow south Africans on X, those people are not nice when it comes to rating thier team's performance after a loss. It is the nature of fans to complain, especially us since it's been ages we actually accomplished anything as a football nation. We missed the last world cup and also lost the afcon after scoring first. Even the 3 lions still get heavily criticized despite them getting to the final in the last 2 euros and making the quarter and semi final in the last two world cups. |

Yesterday Eguavoen committed a big blunder. Bashiru was not in that game, yet he opted to sub out the more active Alhassan |

Amedino99:but you can never see a bafana or 3lion fans supporting their foes coming to rubbish their country play after a bad result they will do it themselves and and still protect their players and national team against external “olote”….Nigerians will join their enemies to tear down super eagles |

Firstly i think the super eagle is overrated and also poor coaching couple of times they can’t string 5 good passes together That aside maduka Okoye just had a bad day and I believe he will come good we have seen what he has been doing with udinese Also boniface watched him severally in leverkusen team last season and this season also in champions league against Milan he is a very good player 💯 maybe just one of those player who break through with national team This team needs some overhaul |

Danielnino00:Lol Majority of the current players we have are almost in their 30's and may not smell a world cup tournament ...does that sound like an achievement to you? Oh, you're probably one of those myopic ones who think playing for a supposed top club in Europe is the perfect barometer to gauge the international quality of a player. Bros, none of this current generation of players with the exception of Osimhen, Lookman and Nwabali are GOOD enough! even a prime Pep Guardiola can't save this bunch. E go do you like film trick when Nigeria fails to qualify for the next consecutive world cups and Osimhen, Iwobi, Lookman etc all enter their late 30's with no world cup, and with the quality of African football becoming more competitive, there's no gainsaying the likes of Sao Tome will soon start beating us. I can gather a bunch of well motivated U20 players that will beat or at least won't struggle against Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Rwanda and other lowly ranked teams. The joke is on you. |

GMBOFASIA:The blunt truth and obvious elephant in the room everybody is afraid to admit...the Osaze/Enyeama/Mikel Obi generation had it worse than this present over-pampared bunch in terms of messy coaching and administration yet they ALWAYS delivered when it mattered. The players we have now are mostly twitter banger boys who fraternize with the so called social media inflencers for media validation and hype. Only Lookman is the media classy player who goes about his business with professionalism and world class consistency on the pitch. I'm all for us overhauling over 70% of these players and starting afresh with new and younger players who have never gotten a real chance, there are lots of them doing well in Europe and in our local leagues. I would rather we try again with new players preferably from our youth teams and give them enough time to make mistakes as they grow, we might miss out on 1 or 2 tournaments due to inexperience but the tough times are worth it for the greater good. |

Kog45:That's why I said he needs serious competition, he plays decently at Fulham but he just lacks the fundamentals that can make him a world class player, way too erratic and brawny than brainy- only good thing working for him is that he's still young and has lots of time to get better. |

minfelix:Oga minfelix, Nigeria fans are very sensitive when it comes to football analysis and you can't take it from them.....am sorry,I have been watching eagles since 80s and I can say much how we reacts to poor results.....losing to CAR,Guinea Bissau,Rwanda, drew Lesotho and Zimbabwe not acceptable and playing lackadaisical football is Haram to Nigeria fans. |

Oganigwe:I think it's time for our coaches to study how Westerhoff differentiate between club and national team performance....just check it out are we saying Osho is better than Balogun,Omeruo and Awaziem?..there are more to national team, reason why Westerhoff club form or not it was norm for Yekini,Amokachie and Siasia to make his squad and remember Owubokiri,Mike Obiku and Chris Ohenhen were in top forms during this period,if it's today team a player like Siasia would not make it but guess what Siasia was a real national team player..... |

Factual observation Chris. I pointed this out at the time of the substitutions. With Alhassan balling so good alongside Onyedika in the middle, it really baffled me, that sub. It didn't matter that Onyeka eventually got an assist. The problem of FDB's disconnect all game was still on show till 77mins. ChrisKels: |
