Meliforme:very wrong.. some of the players are aging and when I say aging I mean those using a false age.. some players claiming 27 years old are actually 35 - 37 years old and they can't track back or defend effectively.. for the 2nd goal, the player that was meant to defend or intercept the cross to the Rwanda player that scored left the rwanda goalscorer alone and became lackadaisical, lazy and un-interested at that key moment.. all the Nigerian players that are not foreign born and are already 27 years old and above should not be invited any more or they should be benched for younger players. then the Nigerian attack does not pass the ball often and play as a team once they get the ball close to the box or in the box they shoot aimlessly thereby losing possession to the opposition instead of at least causing a corner kick or passing the ball backwards to another player and keeping possession.. everytime the SE goes forward with the ball and get to the box they should learn to keep the ball in the opposition half for at least 5 minutes by just passing the ball to other players especially when the SE is leading instead of going for goal and not scoring... |

Yes, SE's lost to Rwanda how painful it was but I was reading somewhere that the boys were not motivated by the gluttonous 💰 guzzling and corruption ridden nff entity. Bar nff Ooso abi na Guso's intervention they would have boycott the last match cos some of the boys were owed as far back 2020 match bonuses. Holding brief for them without, lets cut them some slack, sincerely I don't see Rwanda beating or drawing with us during the WCQ because yesterday's game was inconsequential that is why we all watched d drib drab approach. Finally our major problem is nff |

For those who think people are over reacting, just think about yourself sitting in that uyo stadium and watching what the eagles played yesterday. Is that acceptable by any standards? We are destroying the national team if we continue to make excuses for the rubbish we saw yesterday. The signs were even there in the previous game, we thought it was a one off until yesterday. The Eagles are gradually losing that fear factor within Africa if they can’t be consistent enough. That’s why we are always stunned when these smaller countries come hard on our players when we play them. Any country facing Morocco today know what they are up against when they meet them and that alone gives the Moroccans the edge when they play. It’s called consistency yes someone will say Morocco performance was woeful in Afcon but have they been woeful since after Afcon? How do you hope to qualify for wcq with this kind of inconsistency, it’s not rocket science na, even Comoros won’t lose sleep about the eagles and that’s not good for our football. Soft power is necessary for dominance in any profession or sector. |

villagereporter:walai i stand with this🔥🙌🏻….na so Benin beat us 2-1 go dey get hope to do a double against us…na 3-0 we hammer them…as far as WCQ is concerned no team in that group is guaranteed a 100% qualification…i dont know who needs to leave or be added…i will only give up after match day 9 if we are 4points behind the leaders..as for now everybody just dey play for that group |

Again for those who say they are dead rubber games, agreed let’s say they were friendly games is that the kind of performance a big football nation like Nigeria should put out there? In summary those games are not really dead rubber games they were actually competitive games as it impacted the other teams in our group in their quest to qualify for afcon. The nff, the players and coaches irrespective of whether they were owed bonuses were not serious. Anyone who feels he can’t be motivated without a bonus should leave the team cos even when bonuses have not been owed we have seen shambolic performances too. |

Pidginwhisper:Lol, since you want to compare both of them, let's talk about it. Believe it or not, Gernot Rohr faced a stronger team in C.A.R than Eguavoen did with the Rwandans, and I'll tell you why. When C.A.R defeated Nigeria, they were ranked 124th in the world. Eguavoen lost to a Rwandan team filled with HOMEBASED BENCHWARMERS (according to the Rwandan Coach) who are currently ranked 126th in the world. Don't get me wrong, Nigeria shouldn't be losing to either C.A.R or Rwanda, but what I hate is the hypocrisy and double standards. If someone condemned Rohr for losing to C.A.R, then that person should also condemn Eguavoen for losing at home to a Rwandan team currently ranked 126th in the world. Make we no dey use style dey do racism and favouritism for here. What is wrong is wrong. Eguavoen has been in the Super Eagles setup for decades and has coached the Super Eagles multiple times. He's meant to know better. |

COOL10:okay oya let’s put it this way, we lost to 124th placed C.A.R when qualifiers were still fresh and we needed win to top the table having teams like C.A.R, Sao tome, Siera Leone with our starting 11 including osimhen starting the match while AE already qualified eagles lost to a 126th Rwanda team using second 11🤣 which one be the masterclass carpenter Meanwhile Rohr has been coaching SE for the past 6years before that loss |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by COOL10(m): 11:52am On Nov 19, 2024 |
elyte89:Bro, na after 2018 World Cup I been talk say make dem sack Rohr, especially because of that match against Argentina where he didn't make early substitutions, but the NFF refused. They allowed him stay for the 2019 AFCON and he repaid them by getting a well deserved bronze for a team that didn't qualify for the past two editions of the AFCON under local coaches. Where the NFF got it wrong was to sack him few weeks before the 2021 AFCON. You don't do that to a coach who qualified you with relative ease and expect your team to do well. Eguavoen came and sparkled for just three games because of that "new coach adrenaline" and then lost it afterwards. Bro, you and I know say if na Rohr been dey in charge of that those games against Ghana, there's no way Nigeria would not have qualified for the 2022 World Cup. Rohr rarely loses or draws a two legged match twice. The way the NFF sacked Rohr and eventually Peseiro who took us to the AFCON final is what is still affecting us today. |

minfelix: 😄 Lol, bro you've come again. I remember asking you a question the last time we had a similar conversation and you ran away. Anyway, that's aside. Let's talk about your points. You're blaming Eguavoen's disgraceful loss to a team ranked 126th in the FIFA Rankings on the fact that he used his second eleven for the match. Now let's look at the so called second eleven: Iheanacho: Multiple years of English Premier League experience. Multiple AFCON experience. World Cup experience. Moses Simon: Multiple years of French Ligue 1 experience. Multiple AFCON experience. Maduka Okoye: One of the best goalkeepers in the Serie A right now. AFCON experience. Osayi Bright: AFCON experience Bruno Onyemaechi: AFCON experience Alhassan Yusuf: AFCON experience Victor Boniface: One of the best strikers in the German Bundesliga right now. Troost Ekong: Highly experienced player. 2023 AFCON MVP. The only players there with little to no AFCON experience are Osho, Dele, Onyedika and Boniface. Most of the players you claim are second eleven already have a lot of experience playing football on the African scene, especially at the highest level( The AFCON), yet according to you they're not good enough to beat a Rwandan team currently ranked 126th in the world abi? A Rwandan team filled with players who are BENCHWARMERS at their clubs( according to the Rwandan Coach). Shame suppose dey catch una for the kind things una dey talk. You like talking about the number of years Rohr spent as our coach(it's 5, not 6), yet you want us to ignore the fact that Eguavoen has been in charge of the Super Eagles on four different occasions. He's been our coach 4 times yet you're telling me that he couldn't beat a team of BENCHWARMERS because he used his second eleven (that's filled with players who have AFCON experience and are doing great things in their clubs)? Haba Mana!!! 🙄🤦🏾♂️ |

COOL10:anybody giving an excuse for our loss is shameless and I'm not sorry for what I said. Rwanda is a 126th ranked team. They are not a new country in football, they are there because that is their position based on their past results. A top 40 nation Should not have any problem or excuse in beating any team below 100 and any team that does so should be called it's rightful name; Useless. There are some things you shouldn't even justify if you have any atom of shame in you. This is a team that even if we are fielding an entirely new xi shouldn't have too much issues finishing the match in the first half but I guess Nigeria just loves being an exception. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by COOL10(m): 1:12pm On Nov 19, 2024 |
Kog45:Honestly, I don't think Nigerians give foreign coaches any kind of soft landing. If that was the case, then there wouldn't be a lot of Nigerians like yourself who prefer local coaches. When Rohr lost to South Africa, C.A.R and drew against Sierra Leone, Nigerians asked for his head. When he won Cameroon, Zambia, South Africa, Argentina, drew against Brazil, qualified us for tournaments with games to spare and eventually won us the AFCON bronze, Nigerians still said he wasn't good enough, so I don't know why some people feel hurt when Eguavoen is called out for losing to a team ranked 126th in the world. They're not asking for fairness. They're asking for "local coach privilege" and that's just not right. |

COOL10:no1. i can’t remember a question you asked and i ran oo…maybe you can look for it oo, cos me go gladly answer the question oo. No 2. bro super eagles first 11 is different from european based inform players oo😃.. our first 11 is based on guys that keeps it tough and going when it comes to national team…guys that led to a 2023 afcon final, guys that were missing and benin chopped our eyes 2-1 , immediately dey returned back to the starting 11 we gave Benin 🇧🇯 some 3-0 smacked down 1. Nwabali 2. Ajayi 3. Lookman 4.Aina 5.Iwobi 6.Ndidi 7.Moses 8.Bassey(someone say i should remove his name, but na that one concern the person, bassey was solid enroute afcon final) 9. Osimhen Ekong and Moses Simon are the only “satisfying first 11” that started that match. these guys go start match we will now be loosing against Rwanda? say wetin happen na…las las we go draw the match …the rest are still trial and error/wash up players of super eagles Iheanacho(tueh! old glory) Okoye (tueh! shaky shaky daddy) osayi (tueh! second 11) Onyemaechi ( tueh! just trying to seal his place) Boniface( tueh! bundesliga player🤣 not SE player) Most of the player have experience playing on african scene, yes i agree! but a time would come they will lose form or will not be good enough to remain as our starting 11 and thats what they are now. bros you cannot compare Rohr type of contract to eguavoen own…im not advocating for him ooo…was rohr called in on different intervals to steady the sinking ship…shey you want to compare a coach that will just step in and coach a team in between a 7-8month span and then they sack him to a coach that stayed a straight 5-6years Now i see the reason why Jpes wan kill our reliable starting 11 at the afcon…he knows whats those guys can offer hence use them die sotay all of them carry injury but baba no send he just wan lift afcon with a one-legged Aina,Osimhen, ekong, lookman, nwabali etc…just because these are the men that matters when it comes to eagles of 2023/2024…no dey call okoye for here abeg abi e no wan better for Ghana 🇬🇭 🤣 |

There's no defense at all. E no get the kind lawyer you go call wey go fit defend that case. Even Keyamo and Falana go reject the case because dem know say dem go lose. Which kind explanation you wan give to FIFA say a whole Nigeria dey lose to Rwanda? Na broom dem go use chase una comot for there. Make shame dey catch una nah. Wetin be dis sef 🤦🏾♂️😴 |

Amedino99:I wish I could give this 1000 likes. Everything you wrote is the truth. I don't even know what to add again. Shame is meant to prevent certain people from saying certain things but apparently it doesn't, because they have no shame. Thinking of something doesn't mean that one should post it online, lest they end up staining their image. They condemned Rohr for losing to C.A.R but expect us to clap for Eguavoen for losing at home to a team ranked 126th in the world. That's the double standard bordering on covert racism that I'm talking about. It's tiring, honestly. 😴 |

COOL10:It’s really surprising cos it’s the same way they wanted us to clap for Finidi after shambolic performances. Eguavoen has just made life more difficult for himself cos even if he qualifies now for even the wcq he won’t be the one to lead the team to both wc and afcon. He has wasted his chances to consolidate himself as the full fledged coach of the team. No be Nigerians do am, he and his players have themselves to blame |
