Victor Olatunji, Kparobo Ariehi, Ehibizue, Vince Osuji, Nwaiwu, Torunarigha, Uduokhai etc are all doing well...they should be called up.
When you are done, fold your mat and go back to Facebook, na there your kind choke.

Osayi scammed us big time with that showing on his debut against Portugal. Omo that guy is crap. I blame him hugely for that second goal.

COOL10:
cheesy 😄 Lol, bro you've come again. I remember asking you a question the last time we had a similar conversation and you ran away. Anyway, that's aside. Let's talk about your points.

You're blaming Eguavoen's disgraceful loss to a team ranked 126th in the FIFA Rankings on the fact that he used his second eleven for the match.

Now let's look at the so called second eleven:

Iheanacho: Multiple years of English Premier League experience. Multiple AFCON experience. World Cup experience.

Moses Simon: Multiple years of French Ligue 1 experience. Multiple AFCON experience.

Maduka Okoye: One of the best goalkeepers in the Serie A right now. AFCON experience.

Osayi Bright: AFCON experience

Bruno Onyemaechi: AFCON experience

Alhassan Yusuf: AFCON experience

Victor Boniface: One of the best strikers in the German Bundesliga right now.

Troost Ekong: Highly experienced player. 2023 AFCON MVP.

The only players there with little to no AFCON experience are Osho, Dele, Onyedika and Boniface.

Most of the players you claim are second eleven already have a lot of experience playing football on the African scene, especially at the highest level( The AFCON), yet according to you they're not good enough to beat a Rwandan team currently ranked 126th in the world abi? A Rwandan team filled with players who are BENCHWARMERS at their clubs( according to the Rwandan Coach). Shame suppose dey catch una for the kind things una dey talk.

You like talking about the number of years Rohr spent as our coach(it's 5, not 6), yet you want us to ignore the fact that Eguavoen has been in charge of the Super Eagles on four different occasions. He's been our coach 4 times yet you're telling me that he couldn't beat a team of BENCHWARMERS because he used his second eleven (that's filled with players who have AFCON experience and are doing great things in their clubs)? Haba Mana!!! 🙄🤦🏾‍♂️
Iheanacho only went to AFCON twice, 2021and 2023. The later, he was mostly on the bench.. Rohr was bold to drop him in 2019

Dude looked uninterested the whole match..
Looked and played like he would rather be somewhere else..
Zero attacking intent
Suspect defending

On his day, he can be good, but yesterday he wasn't good

go back to what made me chook mouth in this argument…it was the comparative analysis of C.A.R beating us as 124th rank when dey faced us VS rwanda is 126th whem dey beat us…i quickly chook mouth cos i see say una wan use am paint AE bad.

so the shame follow dey catch all of us no b only me🙌🏻
Bro, I don't need to paint Eguavoen bad. He has already painted himself bad with his terrible performances in the 4 different occasions that he's been the Super Eagles coach. He has tarnished his reputation time and time again and now a lot of Nigerians don't even rate him as a coach anymore. That's the reality.

It’s really surprising cos it’s the same way they wanted us to clap for Finidi after shambolic performances. Eguavoen has just made life more difficult for himself cos even if he qualifies now for even the wcq he won’t be the one to lead the team to both wc and afcon. He has wasted his chances to consolidate himself as the full fledged coach of the team. No be Nigerians do am, he and his players have themselves to blame
Look at how we struggled against Libya and Benin with our so called first eleven, and then lost to Rwanda with our so called second eleven. Majority of these guys are the same players that Rohr and Peseiro used to perform wonders yet people are blaming our loss on the second eleven.

I want to see that magic that Eguavoen will use to qualify for the World Cup. There's nothing that's impossible in this life, so he may actually end up doing it, especially now that a lot of people are doubting him, but it's going to take one hell of a miracle for that to happen.

Yeah, and that proves my point. He has enough experience playing African football at the highest level, so blaming our loss to a 126th ranked Rwanda on experienced players like Iheanacho starting the match makes no sense at all.

Make God just epp us

Cos with this table like this, we need to win ALL 6 games left. That is the big business ahead of this team. The terror of missing consecutive World Cups should be the starter motivation to go alllllll the way. Anybody that is showing any rubbish attitude, no matter how talented, should getat. NFf should do their part and stop the mental gymnastics and get the manager that can take this team to the world cup now.

We don't want a nobody handling the WCQ because they plan to get a foreign manager after the December AFCON. That would never work.

6Wins
No loss
And a compact defense
No excuses for mediocrity. Bring on the A-game and dust away that 'no minnows' excuse. Our mediocrity birthed that crappy punchline excuse.

Once again, the two managers that contributed to this debacle.. i no wan swear for them.

All these testing testing with Tanimu and Osho, Sadiq should be thrown out the window.

This is possible if we take on a superiority and classy mental approach like we did at the last AFCON, but even more clinical on both ends.

Yeah, i should lower expectations. But i will after the 7th game of the WCQ. Till then.

EXPERT TAKE ON OSIMHEN TO MAN U

Tor-Kristian Karlsen assesses how Victor Osimhen might fit at Man United in place of Joshua Zirkzee.

As one of the most coveted strikers in world football, Osimhen's loan to Turkish side Galatasaray this summer may have seemed puzzling, but his spat with parent club Napoli has hardly affected him. He has adapted quickly to partnering Mauro Icardi (who has now been ruled out for the season through injury) in a "double No. 9" formation and has scored nine goals in 10 games so far, looking motivated, sharp, and in optimal physical condition.

Despite dropping down a level, it's clear that Osimhen belongs in one of Europe top leagues. Upon joining Napoli from Lille in 2020, the Nigeria international had a rough first touch and uncoordinated movement patterns that sometimes left him disconnected from his teammates. But he has continuously refined his game and now looks like a complete striker who would thrive under new boss Ruben Amorim.

His ability to latch on to passes played in behind (or at the side of) defenders, exceptional pace, and penetrative runs behind opposing defenders make him almost unplayable in transitional play, or when he has space to exploit. Yet his piercing runs into the box, ability to pounce on the ball ahead of his markers, and superb finishing skills are also impactful in a crowded penalty area.

With Zirkzee struggling to adapt to the Premier League at Man United, a swap deal with Napoli appears an alluring proposition. The Netherlands international's link-up play and neat ball control in the final third has already proven effective in Serie A for his former club Bologna, so Napoli could benefit there, while Osimhen's athleticism, hyper-intense movement and high-volume finishing appear tailormade for a big Premier League side struggling to get enough goals from their No. 9
.

if SE is serious about WCQ.. then Sadiq, ihenacho must never ever be invited then Boniface must be given a seat belt on the bench, invite Dessers, Tolu Arokodare, Tella..

Defenders and players that don't track back like the defender that became un-interested and allowed the Rwanda player to score the 2nd goal should not be invited..

get all the players to track back once the SE loses possession... this is what Posiero did that made the SE reach the final.. He made the team defensive minded...

the SE cannot play attacking football if the attackers are shooting the ball aimlessly

ban media team from the camp and let the team train on keeping the ball in the opposition half and playing as a team...

let the coaches draw up tactics that focuses on team brilliance and not individual brilliance and that also focuses on passing the ball around instead of long balls from defense to attack...

@emboldened.... I said Guinea should firstly secure Qualification to the Afcon today vs Tanzania.

Well, Tanzania leads 1-0 now.

TheSuperNerd:
Oh so because he is leading scorer of the Afcon Qualifiers? Or because of his goals-laden Bundesliga season of 23/24?

They should firstly show us his Afcon 2023 performance.

Secondly, they should show us his team trophy.

Lastly, they should first secure Afcon 2025 Qualification tomorrow away at Tanzania. Tanzania beat them 2-1 when they met in Abidjan, CIV.

Nonsense and Agenda.

Don’t stress yourself we can’t beat Benin, South Africa and Rwanda away. The best performance we can get with this current team away is a draw. It’s takes deep hunger to win away in Africa and this team don’t have that level of hunger. Once they remember their club commitments like someone said they will start counting their legs 😜

You're right it's a daunting task but with the right mentality and a bit of good fortune they can still turn it around.

Going into those matches will require a warriors mindset players ready to leave everything on the pitch.

I also agree Sadiq, Iheanacho even Osayi should be excused. Osho still looks like he has potential given time but he needs guidance from the other senior players.

We should also be careful with our invitations not too many green horns to disrupt the flow.

At the end of the day it's only the attitude and determination of the players that will show the outcome. I've seen teams with the most below average managers still turn things around once the players amongst themselves decide to play. Under Rohr, JP, and AE are players have performed wonderfully while under these same coaches they have plunged the depths almost hitting crude so it's not solely a managerial issue.

Maybe if our past legends like JJ, Kanu or Mikel talk to them because now I know again.

we can qualify for the mundial but we must start all our scorers in midfield i.e Bashiru and Onyedika.

A fully fit Bashiru will be crucial for our WC qualification.

Some teams double or triple up on our forwards whenever they have the ball and this leaves scoring to our midfielders.

Benin did this to Lookman and Osimhen in Abidjan.

From observations
1. Yusuf/Ndidi, Onyedika (is a must), Iwobi should be our starting midfield.

2. The RB in the absence is Ola Aina has been calamity from past matches.

3. Bassey has a competitor in Osho

4. Dessers should be given a look and playing as a backup to VO. To qualify for WC, we need a finisher. Not bonface pls.

5. AE is not tactically good for me. Individual brilliance can't take us far.

I think it's time for our coaches to study how Westerhoff differentiate between club and national team performance....just check it out are we saying Osho is better than Balogun,Omeruo and Awaziem?..there are more to national team, reason why Westerhoff club form or not it was norm for Yekini,Amokachie and Siasia to make his squad and remember Owubokiri,Mike Obiku and Chris Ohenhen were in top forms during this period,if it's today team a player like Siasia would not make it but guess what Siasia was a real national team player.....
Osho is clearly better than Balogun and Awaziem. Balogun has aged. Awaziem was never any good.

Omeruo is a doughty fighter who refused to age. So that's debatable

10 THINGS RWANDA VICTORY DID TO EAGLES

1.It lowered the prestige, and honour of the team and the respect other African teams (countries) have for Super Eagles particularly the individual players that will be projected for Africa Player of The Year award after Ademola Lookman's crowning.

2.It made Super Eagles look very ordinary, common and cheap and even has given other opponents confidence when coming to play Super Eagles.

3.It has clearly informed stakeholders that they should expect more home defeats moving forward.

4.It has exposed the lapses or shortcomings of some players held in high esteem.

5.It has instructed the technical crew to look inwards and consider NPFL Players in the building exercise of Super Eagles. No national team excels with 100% reliance on foreign based players.

6.It has warned the Austin Eguavoen led technical crew not to assume, feel or think that it has arrived or that it already has a team for AFCON or World Cup if they eventually qualify for the later.

7.It has shown that the technical crew needs to weed the team of unserious players irrespective of who their godfathers are or the club they play for.

8.It has proven that Super Eagles are a mixture of 70% average players and 30% super stars.

9.It has revealed that the team needs glory hungrier and thirstier players who will be motivated by donning the national colours and not players who have been in the team for years and are less motivated. Players who will stroll into the team and pick shirts.

10.It called for a Code of Conduct for the team given that the players are serious in away fixtures but handle home games with kids gloves.

Guy, what are you even saying? You're just talking off point. And please, stop trying to act like you know me. You know absolutely nothing about me. I've never claimed to be a sports analyst.

All I am on this sports thread is a concerned fan of the Super Eagles; a fan with common sense, and common sense right now states that Eguavoen is not fit to be the coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. You can make all the false assumptions and excuses that you want, but they're never going to change that glaring fact.

You're right about one thing though. I did criticize Rohr when he lost to C.A.R because that's what real fans do. We put our sentiments and preferences aside and call it as it is for the sake of the team, because the team comes first, unlike you who because of your undying love for Eguavoen has refused to call him out for being unfit for that position.

You condemn Rohr for losing to a small team and then give excuses when Eguavoen loses to a smaller team than even Rohr lost to. There's a word for that. It's called HYPOCRISY.

If you were a white man and Rohr was a black man, everyone would have called you a racist because you're showing obvious signs of racism.

10.It called for a Code of Conduct for the team given that the players are serious in away fixtures but handle home games with kids gloves.

someone sat down, watched the match and thought the problem of the eagles is the lack of home based personnel?
