grin hope this is not the new hustle in town , I don't see any crowded road, you ought to give way, sirens are for emergency ....Happy Martial bliss

Even in the U.S once a security vehicle on it's siren , you ought to give way else you do be arrested.
You are wrong, i ivory coast where I reside the only people allowed to use a siren is the ambulance, and you are obligated to give way. And no where in the Nigeria 1999 constitution did it state that it is a crime not to give way to a power drunk army General.. it is this mentality, that we accept as Nigerians that becomes a nom... I am certain you haven't even traveled out side your domain.
Secondly, if they truly did not give way, is this how they should be treated, let assume it's in the USA where you used as an example.. this are the trait of an animal kingdom. Where the process of the law is suspended and jungle justice is applied.

If you see nothing wrong with this, then you are sick and I pray Nigeria don't happen to you.

Why is it that soldiers never disturb hausa people in the north. Its always southerners. I've still never seen a single video or incident where a hausa man In the north is disturbed by soldiers

He came down, he was the one that hit the guy on the head with an object maybe key or something, I think that's the reason his boys were slapping the guy.

In Nigeria, the use of sirens is regulated by traffic laws and the provisions of the Nigerian Constitution regarding law enforcement, public safety, and the preservation of order. However, the Constitution itself does not explicitly address the use of sirens. Instead, relevant laws and guidelines derive from administrative regulations and road traffic laws.

Key Regulations on Siren Use in Nigeria:
Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Guidelines:
The use of sirens in Nigeria is restricted to specific categories of persons and organizations, as outlined by the FRSC:

The President, Vice President, State Governors, and their deputies.
Ambulances, when on medical emergencies.
Fire Service Vehicles, during emergencies.
Law enforcement agencies, like the police, military, or civil defense, in specific scenarios that justify their use (e.g., during emergencies or escort duties).
Military and Siren Use:
The military is generally permitted to use sirens, particularly for:

Convoys of high-ranking officers (e.g., Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Defense Staff).

Emergency response operations related to national security or crises.
Official duties requiring traffic clearance or crowd control.
Prohibited Use:
Unauthorized use of sirens, especially by private individuals or organizations, is illegal. The Motor Vehicle (Prohibition of Use of Sirens) Act provides penalties for misuse, and the FRSC enforces these laws.

Constitutional Context:
The Constitution indirectly supports the regulation of siren use through:

Section 41(1): Ensuring citizens' right to freedom of movement.
Section 45(1): Allowing restrictions on rights for public safety, order, or defense. This provides the legal basis for limiting the use of sirens to avoid disruption or abuse by any entity, including military personnel.

The average Nigerian security personnel didn't enlist out of patriotism. They joined so they can oppress fellow citizens. Little wonder they can't win ragtag boko haram and bandits.
