What artistes need is visibility which was why they needed to be seen at clubs and shows but with Social Media you can cover a lot of ground without that "lifestyle". Look at Beyoncé, her visibility is always high because of her SM presence yet she is married and a mother.

Yeah but that has nothing to do with that "lifestyle". A good song writer draws inspiration from all that is around them and then tailor it to your audience.
