Kog45:No. O! South Africa's case from what I heard was bad too. I think we were to play at Uyo. (Not confirmed) but they landed at Port Harcourt after leaving South Africa late behind schedule. They landed late in the night and the airport was empty. Like Zilch. So they had to sleep in the airport and had to get clearance the next morning. No alternate arrangement was made to assist them that night. Note, not fully confirmed but that was what I picked up. |

Tessyy1701:This is off the topic of discussion. I repeat this is about our end and improving in our hospitality management. |

The El Kanemi Warriors coach that won the Federation cup also earlier this year, Aliyu Zubairu already got the Flying Eagles job and he lifted the Wafu B U20 title. Be well informed before trying to sound smart, deflecting from the main point. And with mention of El Kanemi, thanks for inadvertently making my point for me. Lol GMBOFASIA: |

TheGoodJoe:You have mental issues. Whose fault was it that south Africa left their airport behind schedule? Whose fault was it that Libya chose to cut costs and be dramatic instead of landing directly in Uyo like others. Sorry man, but you are quite retarded. So, Algeria also came with those pillows in 2017 because we were gonna deny them pillows in their hotels? Of all the African giants we have hosted, it was those Libyan rats that we would play gimmicks on for some cheap points? You are a real cunt. I wish this site had a block button just like twitter, I for dun block your dumb ass a long time ago. |

Like I said before, by calculations after the somewhat disappointing international break, Nigeria will now drop from 36th to 46th in the next FIFA World Rankings and 6th in Africa! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 |

ChrisKels:You can make your point without being abusive. I shared the information I got online from the South Africans Perspective. I wonder why this will make you spit so much bile. We are sharing ideas here. It is not war. When we talk of hospitality, it is not an obligation. Meaning we must not do it. I am just suggesting areas we can improve in supporting oppositions and ways we can help give a hand. Don't vex too much. Finito. |

EEGA:My own is we have an emergency Situation for creativity.we revert to individual brilliance whenever creativity is below 40% If we can get 1 or 2 talented creative boys from the u20 set of the last 2years, no p. We should get used to this 3man defense too. Anyone no eager to make this world cup ticket, player or official should be embarrassed. We don't need anyone helping to write the annals of consecutive wc misses right now. As for scoring Midfielders, that one is down to tactical setup. It will also mean possession football. This Rwanda game got me pissed at how these guys were losing possession and not even able to recover it without a foul. |

Pardon the harsh words but my good friend, TheGoodJoe, I would advise you kindly desist from this Libya-SA/NGA Airport hospitality discussions in future. E get why and you know why. I am not saying don't air your views, but for the sake of unwarranted insults and all, kindly avoid this particular discussion from henceforth abeg. I am begging. Thank you my man. TheGoodJoe: |

Goke7:Normally we can't, but if we put on our A game like we did at Afcon, nobody in that group can stop us from winning all 6. It's just the fact. So we currently have a discipline and attitude problem on the pitch and off the pitch. If all that is fixed, we'll fly like how Morocco were during this qualifiers. |

daveP:The Afcon spirit is gone. Only VO and Ekong has that winning mentality and maybe Aina, others are just there off and on depending on what the other three are doing on the day. That can’t give us much going into those games. That’s why those three have been the most hit by injuries since Afcon. Others can’t take the risk |

Serious Question: Creative conundrum of the Super Eagles Elyte89, if you were given the Super eagles job right now, which player would you call up ahead of March as the creative deputy to Alex Iwobi?? I ask this because of this Eguavoen statement below post-match... “Goals win games, we all know that. They are scoring goals in their club sides, they are scoring goals in training. But when it comes to the game, they don’t score goals. I keep asking the same questions,” Eguavoen told journalists. “But you know there are some players who can make a difference, who can put the ball into space for them to go to goal. But we are still looking for that player who has that flair and creativity. A good playmaker who can put the ball into space for them.” P.S: Anyone else who has a serious answer to this question can kindly go ahead and answer. Throwing names alone won't cut it. You must name that lad and correctly profile him as the creative head needed. Don't just name-drop. Name-drop correctly with the creative midfield profile in mind. Thank you. |

Dominating only in terms of attendance. But herein lies the real dominance. Afcon 2023 Final - 2 West African teams played the final. Afcon 2021 Final: A West African team played vs A North African team. Afcon 2019 Final: A West African team played vs a A North African team. Afcon 2017 Final: A central African team vs A North African team. Afcon 2015 Final: West African Derby again. Afcon 2013 Final: West African Derby again. Afcon 2012 Final: West Africa vs South Africa. We can go on and on down history lane and you will find that COSAFA TEAMS ARE MERELY "USHERS" AT THE AFCON. They come in, they mark attendance, but dem no dey go front or high table. minfelix: |

TheSuperNerd:A fit and inform Bashiru seeing 70+ mins in the Europa league is the solution to our midfield dilemma. Eguavoen needs to hold conversation with Lazio coach and Bashiru as regards playing time in his club side. He is the only midfielder asides Onyedika that can score when our forwards are marked out for most parts of the game. Bashiru we saw against Rwanda was not fully fit as he was still recovering from a knock that made him miss the Benin game. He should be played just behind Osimhen or on the right side of the midfield not on the left like he was deployed against Rwanda. Playing on the right side of the midfield enables him to shoot and come in with his stronger foot(left foot). It's not just finding one who can give those line breaking passes but one who can also score when the forwards are finding it difficult to do so. |
