TheGoodJoe:You are right sir... The simple fæct is Nigeria likewise Benin not having a contingency plan. SIMPLE |

TheGoodJoe:Very simple. Benin threw water at the same Libyan team sometimes ago thats why they were throwing stuffs 4days ago at the Beninese. VERY SIMPLE |

Tessyy1701:Your comment is totally off. It is about us improving our end and not condoning Libya in anyway. So Benin treatment is totally meaningless. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 10:09am On Nov 21, 2024 |
Tessyy1701: I repeat, my discussion is on us (NFF) improving on our protocol repertoire and Benin has nothing to do with it. |

zicky:My post October 15, 2024. Read the bolded. TheGoodJoe: Simple point. I am not condoning them but feel carelessness of the NFF put our players in danger. Many might see it lightly but I don't. I believe there were lapses on our end which played a part in risking the lives of our players. That does not mean I support Libya in anyway. It is about improving our hospitality and also keeping our players more secure. How people have a problem with this baffles me. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 10:19am On Nov 21, 2024 |
zicky:There is no save face story. If the Libyans had problems with our protocol services, they should have officially put down a petition with CAF and not tmake matters into their hands. My point is that we had room to do better. Not collaborating with Save Face Story. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 10:21am On Nov 21, 2024 |
zicky:There were other lapses beyond conveying the Libyans safely. A good example is the NFF expecting hitches in Libya and doing absolutely nothing to the best of my knowledge to calm the tension. Unfortunately, very few care about such. |

TheGoodJoe:in the same statement you echoed the same rhetoric of the same people that justified libya's action against us and you are still claiming you are not supporting thier action. You are claiming that the treatment they received in Nigeria (which is the nff not going above and beyond to make them comfortable despite them not coming to uyo in the expected format) contributed to the hostage situation in libya because they felt disrespected. In the normal world and to every logical thinker, you supported their actions based on what you feel we did not do for them in Nigeria. You however cannot see it that way because you seem to have a fetish to being seen as a contrary figure in every conversation you are engaged in. |

Our boys were stranded in war torn Libya and we had people supporting the Libyans..If to say the egbon talk say "we had people on this thread", it'll have been understandable. When you think your all-knowing and all-seeing, basic things such as syntax will always elude you. |

Fun fact. We have only failed to qualify for the world cup twice since our debut in 1994. We did not qualify in 2006 and in 2022. The Super Eagles manager both times was Austin Eguavoen. Cc Otite Dafe Will Eguavoen break the jinx this time? |

Barnsley Coach, Darrell Clarke on Kelechi Nwakali ahead of the Weekend game vs Wigan. Culled from Barnsley Chronicle Clarke said: “Kelechi has certainly given me food for thought. “He did an excellent job at Cambridge and I am really pleased for him and us. “He has had to wait and be patient to get to the standard he needed to be at. “He came in with a slight groin problem. If he over-did it, he would break down. He was also transitioning from football in other countries to League One. I like him, he’s technically very good. We’re working on other areas we think he needs to improve on. “We have really good competition in midfield. Kelechi comes into that mix and adds value.”
