🥲 Do you know whether the oga and boy relationship is good? Relationship here means salary, methods of payment, incentives, good facilities and tools to work with. Dont you know with the absence of these, it will lead to stealing! Nigeria ogas always cutting corners when it comes with their staff welfare. Sad!

1. There is no excuse whatsoever for stealing, absolutely none! If the "relationship" between the two is not good as you insist, then it is on the employee to report the Oga to the right authorities and even file a suit against him in that case. Again, there is no reason that you can cook up, sad as you may think it to be, for an employee to steal from an employer or anybody for that matter.

Regardless of whatever backstory the employee may have in this case for example, that employer is well within his right to throw him in jail and abandon him there for a very long time, and no one can do anything about it. So, what would your sob stories do for him or help him with in such a situation?

Besides, some people will be hungry and msny on the streets are hungry but their integrity will not let them take what does not belong to them....so let's be careful when we make excuses for these sort of inconsiderate fellows!
Some of these type of people can even graduate into dull blown killers like that lady that was murdered in Parkview ikoyi that year or a female international pilot that was attacked and murdered in Lagos by her house staff another case in Abuja some years ago ...and many such stories coming out of Nigeria

See you justifying thiefing make I type you back in your own English . No one forced anyone to work where they are not being compensated well. That is the revolving cycle...you collect low pay, you normalize it. If everyone rejects low pay, employers will increase pay. If you say, well they do not have a choice...well everyone does. You can work for yourself. If you cannot figure it out, then accept the reality for few years, and stay on your own but destroying another man's investment is pure wickedness.

It is people like you that will justify tenants destroying house anyhow because landlord did not do this or that. Let us call a spade a spade. Thief is Thief.

not really, even if the guy is paid 500k monthly he'd still steal. It's a habit, let's not brand everything as hardship. What stops him from asking from his boss if he was truly hungry?
