LandMann:
Nigeria politicians and leaders have turned every Nigerian to a potential criminal. An average Nigerian has to commit crime to make ends meet because of the bad policies and foundation evil politicians like Tinubu are laying across Nigeria.

I don't blame the guy. I blame Tinubu and all past and present Nigeria politicians
Wrong! The quality and output of our leaders are good reflections of the criminal disposition of the average Nigerian. Leaders rise from the masses. The average Nigerian is no different from the leader he/she wants to criticise.

not really, even if the guy is paid 500k monthly he'd still steal. It's a habit, let's not brand everything as hardship. What stops him from asking from his boss if he was truly hungry?
I hope you are aware that hardship leads some people to steal at the slightest opportunity they have. I hope you know that.

I'm not saying what the staff did is good but first ask the farm owner, how much is he paying the staff, how many workers are managing the ponds..( likely to be a staff)., How many ponds is the staff managing.?.. Fish farming is work is very hard. And I've seen how those pond owners threat there workers... Very bad...
How much is enough?
He's enjoying free accommodations and other benefits.
If a worker doesn't like the job terms it's better to leave than steal stop justifying stealing.
The guy is just an evil fellow.
If he was hungry he would have cooked one...

1. Support to fight what? So, it is OK for the one poor hungry man to steal from his equally poor employer but not sane for the same poor man to fight for his right to better pay by working to develop himself to where he can demand better? Una heads don dabaru finish! undecided

2. What truth? Doing absolutely nothing is what helped bring Nigeria to where it is today on its knees. And continuing to do absolutely nothing will ensure it remains nowhere higher than where it is today. That is the Truth. So, if that truth continues to elude you, then you are not worth hiring as there are already many foreigners in Nigeria— and many of them will be paid so much better by the way — taking jobs away from Nigerians who reason as you do. undecided
Throwing insults shows how dense and myopic your thought process is wired.

And your narrative doesn't change the reality that the poor man whose morals and economic state has been largely affected by the corrupt system of government will look for ways to survive (steal and extort), whether in civil service or private business.
THIS IS THE REALITY

Keep deceiving yourself!

I threw no insult. Just stated a fact about how warped your reasoning is. If the morals of your poor man have been, according to you, largely affected by the corrupt system of government, then your poor man whom you say uses corruption as a reason to commit crimes against others belongs where all those who have allowed corruption corrupt them which is prison. It is as simple as that. undecided

That also means opportunities available will need to go to those who do not use corruption as an excuse to manipulate others. grin

Tell that to your president, governors, legislature, and the judiciary.

You're truly dense and absolutely myopic, what I have stated are the realities in Nigeria, and if you decide to build castle in the air then you're one of the problem, you cannot ignore the symptoms and claim to be searching for a cure to the problem. There is a steady decay in morality, increase in crime and these are due to the policies and behaviors of the government leaders.

There is every tendencies that when opportunity/occasion present itself, people who are struggling to survive will be tempted to steal and extort, most especially when they lack morals and/or when their basic cost of living exceed their income by a significant margin

That is in no way justifying the act of stealing, but the reality must be understood.

Again, this here isn't rocket science so I am not certain why you seem to be having a problem digesting this simple fact! 🤔

If the morals of your poor man have been, according to you, largely affected by the corrupt system of government, then your poor man belongs where all those who have allowed corruption corrupt them which is prison. It is as simple as that and is the reality in that same Nigeria where you claim you speak for.🤔

That pepper soup without spices and in a dangerous pot. That’s typical BAT follower cooking watery beans with no oil or spices due to extreme hunger. The body of the man, typical of a bricklayer, conductor or tout from una side!

Salary payment is based on agreement , if the payment doesn't align with his own satisfaction then he shouldn't have taken the job from his employee , so don't talk this way cos he was not forced to take the job in the very first place..
