joelsteron:In one of my earlier posts,I reiterated that he has the potential to be better than Rodri. Currently,at par with Mikel. Give him the creative midfield role,we assigned to Mikel against African opposition and see him perform wonders. O boy, that boy is class, technically astute and a good game reader. A food for thought. Have the Super Eagles ever failed to score in a game that he was on from the start? |

Can Atalanta challenge for the Serie A ? Would be awesome if Lookman wins Serie A Would be awesome if Osimhen wins Turkish league & Europa League Serie A is definitely between Inter, Milan, Juve & Atalanta Still too early, let me not jinx it Fingers crossed I hope Chukwueze wins something too |

TheSuperNerd:As long as we bounce back, it is okay. We actually played well today. So it is okay. As long as we keep playing fine, results will swing back in our favor. Losing two key pivots, Rodri and Kovacic is a lot. The defenders that played today are not back to full fitness. So it is okay. |

What these city losses tell us is that you have to play to your strengths, especially with the kind of players you have. I believe City's current problem is playing a system they've adopted without the key personnel required to play the system effectively and at the elite level required. Na why dem dey chop beating anyhow now. If you try to play this system at this high level without the kind of players at every position to execute effectively, sorry is your case. This is why a coach can be successful using the system with a team at a lower level and fail spectacularly at a higher level with the same team. Not everybody can play tiki taka and possession football at this level and be successful. Reason why I believe coaches should be pragmatic and work with what they have in the best way they can. Kompany can boss the championship with Burnley playing this style, but can not be effective with it in the epl with the same level of players. It's why Mourinho may play an ultra defensive system against leverkusen, and use a very quick attacking system in Madrid against a very technical and possession based Barca. To be fair, is Pep has actually tried to adapt his style over time based on the opposition he has faced, but it still hasn't worked out, i think because he's still within the general philosophy of his system. That's why I respect Arteta during his injury and player suspension crises, especially against city. He was very realistic and did what he needed to do. No sentimental "play positive beautiful football no matter what". This has always been my opinion anyway. Anyone can dispute it. But it is very visible. |

EEGA:Mikel is one the 4 greatest Nigerian midfielders of all time. I can only think of 3 names that I can put in the same sentence with Mikel as far as Nigeria midfield discussion is concerned. Oliseh, Jay Jay,perhaps Ndidi and Muda Lawal that I didn't watch. Now you are telling us that we have someone on par with Mikel ,and we have been crying about our midfield problem. I hope u would be proven right eventually, otherwise your claims now seems more like an exaggeration to excessive degree |

Don't know about his NFF associations but i can speak from a football perspective. He's now in Turkey 2nd tier. Same with Olanrewaju Kayode who bagged a hattrick against Etebo's Genclerbirligi before the international break. That Etebo move to Stoke and the countless Loans didn't help to be honest. No real stability in Etebo's club career even when he was still getting NT invites. He eventually stalled. elyte89: |

Well, you aren't dominating right now. And I believe it is more down to KDB's absence (for a while now) than Rodri's. Good thing KDB's gradually returning to get mins but he needs time to hit full stride again. P.S: If Man City is found guilty of their 115 charges. They could go dominate in League One or the Championship. Time will tell. TheGoodJoe: |

For sure, having a fully fit KDB and a fully available Rodri makes Man City Mega Monstrous. Those are the two most important players for City. Without the duo together, Man City is like almost any other side. Pep definitely having a hard time adjusting without the duo and trying to manage a KDB who isn't at his best yet. Both lads don't have their proper replacements at City just yet. TheSuperNerd: |

Christian Nwachukwu scored a goal as his side Botev Plovdiv beat Botev Vratsa 3-1 in the Bulgarian EfBET Liga. He played 81mins from the start. Ehije Ukaki also started for Botev Plovdiv as a winger playing 71mins before being replaced by Samuel Akere who played the remaining 19mins + added time. |

Legends have it that ever since Haaland cheekily tapped Arteta and told him "Be Humble eh" after their 2-2 draw earlier this season (a game I was rooting for Arsenal to win), that Man City don dey suffer am I don't know if these legends are right but...... 5 Ls in a row is a lot. Alex Ferguson in 26yrs as Man Utd manager never suffered 5 Ls in a row. Humility (not Humility33) feeding Haaland and Man City "that pie" so far.
