believe me Nigeria is the best country in Africa, you can make it in Nigeria with the little you have. If South Africa is that good, why do Nigerians and some other African countrymen go there for fraud and drugs peddling?

I had a close friend, whose husband went there for 13 yrs, came back with nothing, even with the drugs he pushed. He later died of stroke 7yrs ago.

If you want Japa, relax enter Europe or USA

The problem with the average Nigerian is GREED!!! I have never seen a greedy set of people like Nigerians. You will see them driving fine cars and living in a comfortable house yet they are still complaining about bad economy.
That's the final answer. Very greedy people. The average Nigerian thirst and greed for materialistic things and life of fantasy looks demonic. Some just wanna have all. They don't mind taking the place of God sef.

And for this reason, the universe continues to teach a lot of them sense and bitter lessons, afterall since they don't appreciate what the universe had given to them, the unknown powers in the universe are saddled with the responsibility of taking everything back from them and leave them empty. If perhaps they were able to make it again, they would have sense.

huh before you Japa to anywhere make your research.
A friend sold his house and order properties to travel to Japan he is now stranded in UAE.
He was duped.
He said he can't come back to Nigeria because he has nothing to fall back on.
He is full of regrets,
he was doing fine here. But wanted something bigger..
He shouldn't regret or feel dejected. Life happens., op story just as similar as when I was on my desert journey to Tripoli with Palermo (Italy) as final destination crossing the Mediterranean Sea. We were just changing connection men up and down, some were Alhaja.

From Kano to Niger to Agadez to Duruku to Gathron to Tripoli to Shabhad, spent 16 days before I got to Tripoli. But this time it wasn't a scam because I knew what was awaiting me and the motive behind the sojourn. The numbers of Nigerians outside ehn?! Hmm. N this trip you go know say Nigerians wicked, 16 of us left Kano, when we got to Shabhad we were only 13

Well let's not derail ops' thread. Fire on my brother.

I don't understand why some Nigerians feel inferior if someone try to seek better life elsewhere, they call it greed. People go to the same paradise countries like USA and UK stay 50 yrs and come back with only accent. I'm sharing this story to warn others, I wish Naira land is as active as 7 yrs ago, probably it would spread more. The little who can get this information should also spread it.

Beyond the border of Nigeria, there's no greener pasture

Continuation....

This girls heading across the border should be 16, 17 at most 18 I saw them wearing hijab. So I asked one of them, where are they heading to, she said with a thick Igbo accent, "Mali" I said okay, so I asked what are you going there for? She replied "supermarket job" I was perplexed at such offer to travel all the way from Nigeria, when there's so many good paying sales attendant jobs in pH or Abuja. And she followed up with an assurance to convince me she's on the right track, "the job, they will pay in dollars and my cousin already paid for my transportation, when I work, he will deduct from my salary" seems this one has been brainwashed. Make I face my own problem .

At this point, the red flags was all over, I said to myself, dude, we're being trafficked by different syndicates. I've made this journey so far, I have to finish and see what the end will be.

Exactly 4:45pm Usman our driver drove into the park, he has finished with the documentation and license plate issue.
He said with his broken English, "money finish, take bike and... Immediately I cut in, Usman I'm not taking any bike, enough of all this hide and seek, I have a passport, if you can not drive me along, give me my balance I will take a bus to my destination. I didn't care if he understood or not but he understands I was angry and wasn't taking any bike. So he replied " take bike you dodge police but if you say you enter, you keep money for bribe, 2,000 CFA. I said no problem I will pay just start moving, I was already exhausted, remember it's my 4th day on the road no good sleep.

The other guy also joined me, but the lady didn't have money to pay so she took bike that will cut across police check point.

I want to briefly say, Nigerian police is the best compare to this francophone countries police. From Benin to Togo to Burkina Faso, their police are 100x corrupt and fanstatical bribe takers. So shameless. How can you ask an ECOWAS passport holder to pay 1,000 CFA just like that. Every checkpoint the driver had to pay.

After driving for almost 2hrs, it was getting dark, we had to stop and get something to eat, I bought yam and bottle water to keep me hydrated and energetic. We continued our journey until we arrived at the capital of Burkina Faso, ougadogu.

I have never been more disappointed than I was when I reached the capital, I was confused. The capital is nothing to write home about. Even the worst state in North, Beat a whole country capital 10x.

Now this is the interesting part, the driver was supposed to deliver me, yes I used the word delivery because, I was a package to be delivered. So I was supposed to be delivered to my benefactor at Bobo doulasou not ougadogu but Usman said, he's not going to Bobo doulasou because he needs to deliver the car to the owner.

He said he will book a bus to take us to Bobo doulasou but not that night because it was late. that we should sleep at the park. I was not sure if what I just heard. I burst again, sleep where, oya give me the money, so I can book and get to my destination, because I was already tired. He said, "bus don't move at that time because Boko haram disturb there and if I don't relax, I will risk my life. Immediately I heard that, I just humble.

Now Usman is having a little stand off with the girl (onome) he said thee person that said he should carry her from Cotonou is owing 12,000 CFA and should balance up or he will seize her bags. I watched them exchange words back and forth. All I wanted was to sleep. I enquired about an hotel around, a taxi driver was called to take I and the other guy to any hotel to sleep for the night. The driver took us to a brothel, we were angry, the language barrier didn't allow us to express more, we said no olosho, just hotel to sleep. He nodded like he understood, the werey carry us turn the whole ougadogu until it clocked 1am we told him to take us to the park.

While we're looking for hotel to sleep,my benefactor was already buzzing my phone, trying to know where I was and was angry at Usman for not delivering me on time. I bet she couldn't wait to get hold of my money.

don't argue with that fellow,we really don't know how sophisticated we Nigerians are. An average Nigerian house, Better pass a commissioner house in Burkina Faso, an Igbo business man house for village better pass a high profile Burkina Faso government official house. I'm not exaggerating. Traveling is education.

An average Nigerian will buy Land, mold blocks, dig bore hole, build his house complete without the help of a single drop of government funds. Countries like that, government allocate land to you, get a small loan from micro finance, they will build a low budget house for you, government provide water, electricity na minor thing.
