My visa was denied 😞

Reason: There are reasonable doubts as yo your intention to leave the territory of the member states before the visa expires

Yes, you can visit multiple Schengen countries with a single-entry visa, as long as you do not leave the Schengen Area during your trip.

Multiple stamps? nope

If you enter Paris, you're stamped in and can enter all 26 Zones and exit from any of them. Entry Stamp from Nigeria, exit stamp back to Nigeria

So , If I exit from paris airport, they won't stamp me out ?

I thought if I exit from paris , they should give exit stamp..

Then I fly in to another schengen country, they should stamp me in there too.

Wow

If you leave Lagos to Asaba, will you show anything to police to stamp you? It is a zone and almost like same country.

I gave detailed answer, you are still asking same question

Ahaha ! I believe there is no harm asking questions about what you don't understand... My apologies though, if that seems too much.

BUT , we learn every day ... I appreciate the time taken to answer my questions though.

Now, they clearly stated that you'll not come back, so they believe you want to japa

When you apply next do the following

2. Write a strong personal introduction letter stating who you are children how your this and that and because of your position you'll never run and that your child attends xyz school, your wife is this and that, full details of who you are.

3. Prove home ties with landed properties

4. Letter from your office

5. All letters of employment, transfer, promotion etc

6. Marriage certificate

7. Children birth certificate

Wow
Those Schengen Airports have a special arrangement that when you are are traveling within the the Schengen zone, you won't see immigration that will stamp you out/in. It will just be like a local travel. Same thing at the other schengen country you are traveling to. You'll arrive at the airport and exit from an area that will not take you to immigration, you are already within the Schengen zone.

It is only when your flight will take you out of the schengen zone, that you'll have access to immigration at the airport.

In your case, you have only single entry, so once you exit the Schengen zone after an entry, you won't be allowed in again.

I once flew from Italy to Germany and was surprised to see a British lady on same flight looking for immigration stand. On arrival in Germany she kept walking about looking for immigration, me I was walking about looking for the exit that will take me to train station, after coming across one another about twice, she finally came over to ask me where the immigration stand was. Lol.

I was amused as one would have thought Oyinbos will know these things. I explained and explained that since she came in from Italy, after initially flying into Italy from London, she's already within the Schenghen zone and so won't go through immigration again in Germany. After taking my time to explain, she still was not looking convinced, me I carry my leg waka my own waka. cheesy

Hello. Good evening everyone.
I’ll like to apply for a France visa to go join my fiancé (He’s American but works in France). Our wedding is December 27 and I plan to travel December 30. He’s the one sponsoring me and providing accommodation and all.
I need opinions about something

1.Apply for a visit visa now and when I get to France, change it to a spousal/long stay visa (if this is possible without coming back to Nigeria)

2. Wait till after the wedding and I have my wedding certificate, then apply for a spousal visa

Please which of the above will you guys suggest I do?

Note: I’m a fashion designer so I don’t have any form of official employment to any company and I don’t have anything I can use to prove ties to my country.

Thank you.

Submitted application at TLS Lagos today. Received email that it's been sent to Consular authority, fingers crossed.
Hoping that France will once again prove themselves for speedy processing than the Italians.
Visa alert
Processing time quite impressive, less than 2 weeks.
Submitted on the 18th of this month and was transferred to their embassy same day.

Received email for collection today 28th and picked up without much ado.

6months multiple issued.
I earlier had 3 Schengen - 2 weeks, 3 weeks and 1 month.

Applied with the usual documents - 1 year travel insurance from Axa-Mansard, letter from employer, my own letter, personal and employer bank statements as employer will be covering cost, marriage certificate, children birth cert, previous visas, hotel reservation which got cancelled and got me worried; did the hotel reservation for same hotel again, though didn't send it.

Indeed fast. It'd seem France processes Schengen visa faster in Naija than all the others.

I'm even surprised to see that the visa stamp issued date is same day (today) that the passport was returned to TLS and TLS alerted me rightaway.
