Even in the old Midwest and later Bendel state, the current Delta north had always been the poorest and most ingratitude province. They even connived with Biafran orcs to invade and occupy the then Midwest under the Enugu puppet Okonkwo stooge government that declared Republic of Benin.

They are not needed in anyway. If not for Marriam Babangida, will that backwater Asaba have become capital of Delta state on its creation?

Well, my senator has said it all and has said he is in total support of Anioma state creation not out of altrustic reasons for Anioma people but rather to drop dead weight .

Facts says otherwise. The Ikas and the Enuanis have always had the most human resources in Nigeria. The Ukwuanis have had the most natural resources. Even the Ikas have oil and gas as well. The Delta north ethnic groups have always been ahead of you ogogoro drinking, community deve dependent Urhobo from the beginning of time.

Why are IPOB cretins angry that I am supporting Anioma state creation out of Delta state?

Are these not the same people who rejoiced over Ned moving the motion for Anioma state? So why is it that a Senator from Delta central supporting Ned's bill is giving them pains?

The truth is that their eyes are not limited to Anioma but the whole Delta state.

Everybody reserves the right to self determination and I don't want to deny people of that right. Nevertheless, this agitation for new states being spearheaded by politicians with appetite for luxury and vanity doesn't sit well with me. They try to promote this idea as a people oriented idea meant to secure and defend the rights of their people but we know politicians and their knack for self-aggrandisement. The creation of delta state from bendel state didn't bring the development the people desired. Instead what we got was mismanagement of scares resources. We recently heard about the allegations by the EFCC against Mr. Okowa. If Anioma state becomes reality will that change? It won't.

The noise for Anioma state is getting louder but:

* Abaribe aka Onye Iberibe is crying up and down about what does not concern him.

* Borowo aka fairly used Oyinbo rep member is busy threatening to make someone dissappear.

* Former APGA chairman now turned senator cannot reason well because of his tall cap.

After some time now, una go begin cry.

Tell your Legislators to wake up.

All these creation of states, The small money you have will be used for funding the lifestyles and overheads (aka convoys and security votes) of more governors. Any citizen looking for a new state does not like his people.

Once upon a time we had only 3 sub governments in Ibadan, kaduna and Enugu. There was enough money left for the people. When you hear of the development of those days it is because all the money was not taken up in admin overhead. The more you create states, the poorer the states become. The more your citizens migrate to Abuja or Lagos.

We had 3 premiers and their cabinets. Today we find 36 governors and their cabinets and some want to add more?

Anyway state creation is dead on arrival. To create a state in SS, SE will demand their own or they won’t vote for it, for that to happen SW will say kilode? We too we want Ibadan state or Ijebu state. To get the North to approve 4 new southern states, they will demand 6 states. You where this is going? Dead on arrival!

Make e no be like say we no fight for state when we dey senate! They all know it is dead on arrival!

Why do we like to argue emotionally? I am telling you the reality of the negotions for state creation. If you want to toe that line the SE shouldn’t even have 5 states in the 1st place, the entire SE is not up to Oyo state or Niger state. When you take that line that is what those from Oyo or Niger will tell you. Don’t forget that the state assemblies in these same Oyo and Niger will have to vote to approve as this is a constitutional amendment!

So don’t go along that line, I am simply telling you the politics of state creation.

bros I am from delta north isselukwu and I am proud Igbo man and that does not mean that u are not my broda intact an average delta man irrespective of tribe still see even Benin people and esian people as one but we the delta north just have to join with our broads in the east the ikas and kwale people see them selves as igbos they have Neva resisted that fact that they are not igbos we might have had contact with the Benin people in the olden days but the core of our culture and believes are the same with the east any way we are still brothers I grew up in the west and all my friends are from the old Bendel state creation of anioma won't stop us from seeing ourselves as one

The demand for Anioma creation is unarguably the oldest agitation in the history of Nigeria, it started in the 1950s by the people of Aboh and Asaba divisions in the Western regional House of Assembly. It is a struggle that has spanned decades.
It was out of personal interest and greed that IBB under the influence of his wife Late Mariam Babagida that IBB added the Anioma region to be part of Delta state, with Asaba as the State Capital.
It was a daylight robbery to all Deltans.
Geopolitically Anioma have no connection's with Delta.
Delta is a peninsula in Nigeria.
I believe they wanted to use the Oil money from Delta to develop Asaba and environs which over 31 years now they have achieved.
No doubt Asaba is one of the most developed Capitals in Nigeria with an International Airport,Standard Stadium and a state of the art Specialist Hospital. While Warri is very dirty and under developed.
They have cheated Deltans enough and achieved their aim.
Please they should allow them to go.
They do not have any economy contribution to the growth of Delta state.

You are just arguing, if you bring in landmass then the north will have more 100 states, have you thought of population density in a small landmass, population of Anambra state is near to that of Oyo state showing that human density is more important than empty unoccupied landmass in Oyo or northern part and deserves more state than state that have big landmass with empty landscapes.

Apart from Lagos that was built with Nigeria oil money as former capital of Nigeria for more than 50 years, name one state in SW that is better than any state in SE if the 5 states in SE have not achieve nothing

Do you need to have anything to do with SE to be part of it, name one geopolitical zone in Nigeria that is not having different tribes in it. Last I checked, Agbor people are called Delta Igbos how come you don’t have anything to do with Igbos.
