Even today men continued to live well past 120 years. So, is there a contradiction between what God decreed and what actually came to pass?

Most in Nigeria don't know their DOB; it is just assumed

When my granddad died in 1978, he was reported to be 116.

However, when the census was carried out in the early 20th century, his age was recorded as 25yrs.

25 + 78 is 103yrs and not 116.

Most people born in the said period in this part of the world has no idea of the particular year they were born,no birth certificate or means of prove of age..

If you don't have a birth certificate,how then are you sure of the date of birth and age?

Knowing Africans and our love of
embellishment ,I'll wager most of the claimed age are not accurate..

They may be very old,but claims of 120-150 years are frankly incredulous.
