In as much as we African ladies want to embrace our African hair, it's time consuming and high maintenance.

Yesterday I nearly cried while undoing my braids, detangling and washing the hair, then redoing the braids myself... It took me hours.

Personally I don't like wigs, but I understand why some ladies like wearing them... Maintaining African hair is a full time job, so please, bear with us.

I'm a woman, but me too. I dislike people who talk too much.

I don't like painting my face. I'm still one of the few women who still use white powder.

I have yet to see the reason why I will wear a wig whose worth is enough to pay rent for one year.

I am definitely not a fan of beauty without brain.

Not a fan of dressing tacky, it's not sexy believe me. Be moderate in everything, you may show a lil skin but don't throw yourself in people's faces.

I found myself ordering rice water and hair growth pills online because those salon people really messed up with my edges and subjected my hair to too much heat, leaving it damaged... I had to cut it and now I mostly do my hair myself because it's safer that way, but it's still tiring...😩😩😩

One thing I can attest to that a high number of guys (including myself) disapprove of, is too much of makeup...

Nne, please easy on the makeup, keep it as light as possible because heavy makeup contrary to urban trends is a huge turnoff to men.

Imagine an mgbeke that used makeup to upgrade her looks to be fine like magnoliaa, acting snubbish and giving attitude lol.
