I believe their was a time in Africa bangle isn't acceptable, except it is made of African beads or cowries.
I also believe there was a time wig and weavon was demonic.
When I was a little, my mom had to beat my sister for wearing jean trouser as she felt it is oloshoism, today even my 63yrs old mother deh rock baggie jeans.

So no worry, in the next 30yrs, the leg chain will not be an issue, u may not even have a problem when ur daughter or grand daughter wears it.

U should also take into considerations that some of us are not christians, so because ur bible says people should not wear leg chains, doesn't mean leg chains should be universally rejected.

This is why the Atheist always have problem with religious folks, u people just define standard for everyone.

In context, the event took place in a church, which I gave my opinion to. Hence it only make sense I reference biblical standard and that should not upset a non-Christian. However, this is not only about bible standard at it were. my point being, if you're a role model or in position of leadership necessity is laid on you to act with modesty. Look at what our society looks likes! just because we want to be right only in our own eyes. I will be an hypocrite to judge cause even I needs to do better.

"Education na scam" that my generation was chanting because many of us where either unemployable or without a reasonable job, now secondary school students which we were brothers and sisters or model to are now into fraud thinking that is the way out of poverty, and that spending time in school will amount to nothing.

Now, nobody give a damn about values, Just make money, the society will accept you. some thing that was hardly heard of in our own days. At least, at that cradle level. But now it is almost acceptable. does that makes it the right way of life, because society as accepted it??

So I literally was at this church this las Sunday, wouldn’t disclose the name of the church but my first 1hr or so, it was certain workers mounting the pulpit kabashing (speaking in tongues as they’ll say).

Brethren, “start speaking in Holy Ghost/tongue” while he led the session.

As a first timer and a total stranger to such, I felt embarrassed and worried cos of course, a female worker leading the session, probably a prayer warrior was putting on a Jean pant but all I could hear is kabashing for straight few minutes, no much words I could relate to, just speaking in tongues.

While eyes were closed, I sensed another woman’s voice again taking the speaking in tongue session from the previous one, I managed to open my eyes and at least be sure of what I signed up for lol, lo and behold the female pastor had leg chain, that was when I asked myself a sincere question; “haven’t I trespassed already?”

Cos what’s all these straight one hour or more kabashing with questionable mode of dressings?

Oh! Pastor Mrs. must have felt weird noticing that I was busy ruminating the thoughts in my head regarding their totally different mode of worship, she got vexed at some point noticing that while she did everything to lead the whole congregation to clap, jump, do stuffs but I wasn’t so much moved.

She felt unrest and started “… don’t rebel, clap, clap clap” I knew she was indirectly referring to me, so I personally ignored and acted like I didn’t notice but of course the people sitting next to me must have felt, I’m not complying at some point. Hahahahahah.


Fast forward, choir came to my rescue with a very badass music and dancing session, okay I like good music, I felt a relief at least, this is a bit different, I could hear them sing in English and nice songs accompanied with the melodies instrumental backups.

Oh before I forget, while we were at the music and dancing session, I could sense the Pastor Mrs. communicating and probably ensuring this other pastor knew there’s a rebel amongst them lol, I was like; today na today, they would bomb me with Holy Ghost fire if I’m not careful.

After the music and dancing session, a well dressed man, another pastor or so who the Mrs. must have reported me to mounted the pulpit in a nice senator wear but I could sense his maturity, appreciated the choir, sounded humble being compared to Ps Mrs. which she later recognized while trying to pitch in the sermon of the day.

Like the commenter above said, fashion is dynamic. Men in Scotland still wear skirt till today, nothing bad about leg chain, provided she is well covered. Her husband could be like me, he probably likes seeing her rock them, so no big deal about that
