For about three years, Nnamdi Kalu conducted his Biafra agitation in the southeast without anyone harmed, until Buhari sent soldiers who killed unarmed people praying inside a church in Aba, followed with Operation Thunder Storm and other killings of so-called IPOB people in the southeast.

Ekpa Simon thereafter got rented by anti Biafra elements in Nigeria's government to do mayhem in the southeast.

Some of you don't tell yourselves the simple truth.

The case is before a competent law court and the executive can not interfere with an ongoing court proceeding.

Let your Kanu defend himself before the courts and let the courts decide on his matter.

If found not guilty , he will be discharged and acquitted and no one will complain.

If found guilty and duly sentenced according to the law, he should appeal his case all the way.

Where that fails, he can now apply for a state pardon.

Dragging his case does not help him as his best chances at getting a fair hearing and a pardon if need be lie under this current dispensation. A northern president whom you are all now advocating for to replace Timubu will not entertain any talk of granting Kanu a pardon.
