I have sunking home 500X it charges my phone very fast and perfect, infact its almost 1yr am enjoying it
Is it a solar power bank?
And how much and where did u buy it?
Re: Who Has Used This Solar Device Before? by Chidolalar: 12:15pm On Nov 28, 2024
Dandsome:
Buy it if you need it to power that small lamp and charge your torchlight phone.

Don't buy it to charge a smart phone.

Is it not sun king?

It won't charge your smart phone o. Don't say I didn't tell you

I'm talking out of experience.

If you still doubt me, call their customer care line and they will tell you the same thing I'm telling you.

If you want the one that will charge your smart phone you need to buy the bigger one which is more expensive.

If you then want it to charge your power bank then you should buy an even bigger one.

Don't fall victim to anyone telling you otherwise
Is the sun king a solar power bank?
And how much is the bigger one and where can one buy it
Re: Who Has Used This Solar Device Before? by Eju2018(m): 12:20pm On Nov 28, 2024
I have it. I won't charge big phones and power banks. It's mainly for smaller phones. So don't rely on it to charge your bank.
Re: Who Has Used This Solar Device Before? by eteebanky1: 12:23pm On Nov 28, 2024
Lol, this can never charge your Android device

But the HOME 200X, you'll never regret it.

Is it strong enough to charge my phone whenever there is power outage? And can I also use it to charge my romoss 30kmah power bank?

It's around 40k on jumia
That thing can charge your android phone but at a very slow rate and at the expense of not charging the lamp for use later. And it cannot charge your power bank.

No, it would not, But it would provide light for at least 16 hours when fully charged. I bought several around 2018 for my broiler farm( it was 9k a piece then). I once tried charging my android with it & it didn't do shyt.
The thing contains only like two pieces of those rechargeable clipper batteries. grin
Re: Who Has Used This Solar Device Before? by Goddyj(m): 12:41pm On Nov 28, 2024
This is what you need for now since you just need to charge your phone and power bank. Look for any 12v battery and add to the installation and you're good.

With a little more money added to the one you shared, you can get this combo

Re: Who Has Used This Solar Device Before? by TemmyT002(m): 12:47pm On Nov 28, 2024
The one I bought is 23k
It has three lamps and one charging port.
It doesn't charge my phone but charges my wife's most of the time
I guess this one should be able to charge your phone well. It can't charge your power bank to satisfaction, however, unless the solar device is fully charged. The charging will also be slow.
The one sold for over 80k should be able to charge your power bank.

O' boy! No go waste money...

This solar model can't charge android phones ,, talk more of power bank..

There are other model of sunking product that can... But a bit expensive..

Home 600 can comfortably charge your devices but not sure of power bank .

I disagree

180watt panel, 60ah battery, 20ah charge controller, & 500w inverter is enough to charge his phone, & power bank conveniently even when watch his led tv and this whole thing is not up to 500k despite weak naira
How much pls? grin

tribal hate and religion is a sensitive matter, it wise to always respect other people's culture. Moreover, i am a business man too, annoying people here can make a potential client to stir away.

People have killed for less, it good if we are matured about this and always learn to avoid being a vessel of hate and inconsequential political tool. I would probably felt bad too if someone said something bad about something i held dearest to my heart.

my post is not a tribalistic post. Check all my posts, i av nothing against Igbos, i av always advocated for them here and defended them whenever they are in the right.

If my post offends you or ur tribe, pls sorry. It was meant to be funny just as i mentioned China child factory.

I will edit the post promptu
Address issues please, leave tribe and race out of this.

You can build a good one yourself to charge ur phones,by buying the parts separately ,
You can buy the following
a 18ah deep cycle battery
A 60 to 70w 12v solar pannel and some cables
Dc to dc adjustable step down or a 10a charge controller
Original 12v car cigarettes usb charger

Then do the connections

This is what I used to charge my phone when there is no light....when our transform was.bad for 4 months,I didn't even feel it, because my phone and power bank was always charged .

Buts it's not cheap.

Without solar panel 60k

Re: Who Has Used This Solar Device Before? by Ybholy(m): 3:47pm On Nov 28, 2024
It’s not meant for charging phones.

It’s for 3w to 8w led USB bulbs.

If you need solar devices that can charge phone, kindly go for YoboLife Solar Kits or solar power station.

Solar stuffs that will serve to your expectations ain’t cheap. Bear it in mind

Yes, it has. I just want to know if it's original as portrayed on jumia. I only need it for my 5,000 mah phone and 30kmah power bank only. I no need light

I just want to know if I can use it to charge my phone directly from the sunlight
Don't buy it, it won't charge your phone fast

Technically it should.
BUT....control the temperature.
-
My phone has normal and fast charging.
The issue with fast charging is that it can get the phone hot at times.
And once the phone is HOT, it has some thermal control unit that cuts off
power once the phone is too hot.
So you that want to use this thing under sunlight, I'm not sure how your setup
will be.
Just try to keep the phone cool/away from sun when charging.
May your phone too has thermal control unit inside.

it will kill ur ba3

It will charge it, no doubt. Even potato plugged to cord can charge phone, but the stuff will deplete the Lithium-ion capacity in the ba3.

The solar good enough for such convenience would be in 500k and above... anything less is a product of China child factory, not different from Igbo made (Pls i luv D Igbos, this was not meant to offend u, it just a reference. I am sorry if u find it offensive).
500k ke?? Haba, you wan kill the guy... That one he talked about is okay... I have the oraimo product and it has been working really fine for months now

If na original sunking omo it will charge your phone but power bank might be too big for that capacity, I use sunking home 200x and it charges my phone and my 20k power bank.

It's not. It's only strong enough to charge those feature phones. I had one form years ago. When it was sold for 6k.

Won't recommend for what you intend to do with it.
