There is nothing to fear as she was issued a multiple-entry visa for such travel. She will not have any issues if she enrolled full-time and actively pursuing her studies. A copy of the study permit and proof of enrolment (printout of course registration or enrolment letter) will suffice. Yes, she can spend 3 weeks outside of Canada. Mamagirls3: |

Unlike temporary residence applications (work, study, visit), VO is not very strict on proof of funds regarding permanent residence applications. The new dollar account is acceptable if you can provide a gift deed, proof of relationship to the donor, their source of income and reasons for opening a dollar account. Naira instability is a good reason. All these documents should be included in the Proof of Funds section of the portal. smithe113: |

It’s PPR everyone🥹… it’s been God all the way, this journey was not an easy one but am forever grateful and another special thanks to Bobomaigida for his unlimited assistance and support. I sent several webforms and emails to all the Ircc email addresses I can get online after I submitted the request letter but no positive response. Even sent to MP as well no response. Two days ago, I stumbled upon some set of new Ircc email addresses I saw here and I decided to send another mail to all of them. Fortunately for me , PPR dropped last night around 8:25pm. Have attached the email address for anyone that’s still waiting for response from Ircc, God will come through🙏 My Application was 20weeks old My Timeline: Application submitted: June 22nd 2024 Biometrics updated: June 22nd 2024 Upfront medicals: Aug 9th 2024 Medicals passed: Aug 23rd 2024 Eligibility started: Sept 11th 2024 Request Letter (Updated LOA): Sept 11th 2024 Uploaded LOA: Sept 11th 2024 BVL and PPR: Nov 29th 2024

Wonder1844:Congratulations. BVL means application is finalized and decision made. Visa no on tracker indicate your application was approved. You should receive your PPR in due course. |

Hi guys please I need y’all advice , I want to submit my study visa application soon My total tuition fee- 15800 its a one year course + living expenses 20635 + miscellaneous expenses 3000 = 39435 cad this total cost coverted to dollars is 28160usd My sponsor is my mom , she did a gift deed for me USD 25000 from the sale of her property My savings from my employment is a total of 3200usd So total balance in my domicilliary account is 28200 My question now is I can’t write in my sop that the gift deed was sent for tuition + living expenses because the 25000 usd sent is 35010 cad and my total tuition fee + living fee is 36435cad which is 26015USD BUT the gift deed + my salary is enough to cover my tuition + living expenses + miscellaneous expenses Please how am I going to explain it in my loe , should I just write she gave me the gift deed to support my study without being specific on what its for?? So it doesn’t confuse the visa Officer because if I say the gift deed is for tuition + living expenses and they notice its not enough even if the total balance in my bank statement is enough to cover my tuition + living expenses + miscellaneous expenses Please help me what should I do ![]() |

Hoelujohn:I have paid 50% of the tuition fee from the gift deed already….. i am just asking to know because I have the remaining money in my bank statement to cover the remaining 50% tuition fee + living expenses + miscellaneous expenses but I want to know if the visa Officer expects the complete money to come from the sponsor gift deed for tuition & living expenses because the sponsors is basically giving me 80%of the funds to cover the full tuition fee & 95% living expenses and the remaining 20% is coming from my savings from my job salary to cover 5% living expenses and the 3000 miscellaneous expenses … I don’t know if you now understand what I am trying to say?? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 4:38pm On Nov 30, 2024 |
The gift deed does not have to cover the cost of your education for you to mention that they are for tuition and living expenses. However, to address your concerns, you can say it is to support the cost of your education. The VO will only look at the total sum, not the gifted amount, to determine if you have sufficient. Tabularize your financial analysis to show the sum. Don’t forget to prove the relationship and explain her income source with supporting documents, which should show that she can save such an amount. The link you posted is flagpoling for PGWP by students who complete an educational credential from an accredited post-secondary Canadian DLI. Yes a foreign National can actually apply for Study Visa from Canada or convert their visit visa to study visa but his application will be treated like he is applying from outside Canada or his home country. In fact it may come with some disadvantage in the sense that if you finally get the study permit while in Canada, you must ensure you didnt violate your existing Visitor Visa and you might need to explain to CBSA (Border) officers why you applied for the student permit from inside Canada rather than from your country when getting your study permit at the border. So the choice is his if he has enough reasons to defend applying from inside Canada instead of applying outside Canada or from his home country. If anyone will do this, do yourself a favour by consulting who has done same and succeeded so you dont go and complicate your case. macsilver: |
