It may have an effect on the unborn child since it's not among cravings due to the pregnancy. Ma, to the best of my opinion, why not do the little you can for the exams even if it means you failing and repeating the course(s) than can problem for the future? I wish you all the best! |

Being pregnant while preparing for exams can present challenges, particularly when it comes to sleep. Sufficient rest is crucial for success in major exams, as it enhances concentration and memory retention. Therefore, it's important to prioritize good sleep habits and maintain a nutritious diet. To optimize your study sessions, consider adopting the Pomodoro technique. This involves studying for 25 minutes and then taking a 10-minute break. During the breaks, short naps can be helpful to recharge your energy levels. Consistently following this approach can lead to improved performance in your exams, regardless of your pregnancy. Additionally, anecdotal evidence suggests that individuals who consume cannabis may experience certain benefits, such as enhanced relaxation and improved sleep quality, which can aid in memory retention. However, it's important to consider healthier, legal alternatives to boost focus and well-being while studying. |

Each 1.5g Nascafe contains about 60mg of Caffeine. 4 per night is quite significant, that's about 180mg. Caffeine is a natural stimulant, it increases your Heart Rate and Blood pressure. These parameters tends to Increase physiologically during pregnancy, and it should be kept in check due to the effect it poses. Adding caffeine to that puts the baby at risk of Placenta Insufficiency, Intra Uterine Growth Restriction... even you. Please, as much as the exam is important, your life and the baby's are more important. And honestly, taking caffeine sometimes is just teasing the brain, I can take 2 and sleep right immediately. And nights I'd 1 and stay awake throughout the night. So it's just a psychology thing You can fake it for your self. Like a placebo. You can prepare tea instead, sipping hot tea (with less sugar) should do the effect too. |

Greenite Excessive consumption of anything is bad for the individual, talk less of a pregnant woman, In a single sachet of Nescafe classic, you have about 70mg of caffeine, the main drug you consume to stay awake. Taking 4 Nescafe means you consumed 280 mg per day, which 80 mg higher than the recommended consumption for a pregnant woman, while 400mg is for normal humans. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends that pregnant women limit their daily caffeine intake to 200 milligrams (mg) or less. You should also note that you consume caffeine in chocolates, certain medications, and some beverages. https://www.acog.org/clinical/clinical-guidance/committee-opinion/articles/2010/08/moderate-caffeine-consumption-during-pregnancy |

That caffeine doesn't make you sleep at night is just a placebo effect. Train yourself to stay awake whenever you want to without taking coffee. Coffee at least 1 or 2 cups a day is not bad for pregnancy but just to be on the safer side i would advise you to reduce or stop coffee intake and replace it with herbal tea. Herbal teas are a great way to stay hydrated and can often be low caffeine caffeine-free, making them a perfect alternative to coffee during pregnancy. Some popular options include Rooibos tea, chamomile tea, and peppermint tea. In the spirit of new month i will be selling my book on how to make 75 different herbal tea for different purposes. Herbal tea for flat tummy, to prevent sleep or to sleep better, for firmer breast, for waist and joint pains, for weak erection and lasring long etc. I am letting it go for 2000 naira only for the new month bonanza. It normally goes for 10k. If you need a copy reach me on WhatsApp with the number on my signature. |

Generally speaking, it’s not a healthy beverage. And in speaking from experience. I stopped taking it and my life has never remained the same. That 3-n-1 is the worst. Avoid it. |

Lol https://www.nairaland.com/8280792/nescafe-effects-pregnancy#133117359 In addition to my comments above, Nescafe is bad. There is a toxic stuff inside instant coffer that causes cancer. You should take only organic coffee bean that you grind yourself or organic powered coffee without any added preservative or sugar or sweetener. |

200mg per day is adequate with no or minor side effects. Caffeine has both advantages and disadvantages. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends a daily dose of 200 mg or less. Converting it to cups is tricky, but stick to one cup per day, with a maximum of two cups on some days. You are good to go. |
