There's no Flemish Giant available in Nigeria. Our weather doesn't support their growth. Even research institutions in Jos that imported some, they all died.

I just don't want to get rabbits that are from the same bloodline to avoid inbreeding.

That's why it's best to get them from a reputable breeder or from different farms.

Yeah....but in the case whereby reputation cannot be assured, it's wise to just buy the two sexes from different breeders.

My chinchilla that I have crossed on two occasions always give birth to two breeds Hyla and Havannah breed. Although I have used Hyla buck to cross her on the two occasions. I will love to have a chinchilla breed in one of her litter and I don't know why she keeps birthing Havannah breed.

There is no market for it, and there is also a big market that you can't meet as a breeder,some farmers sef dey run from customers.Bottomline is you will be the one to create the market.

Fast forward to this morning.. I woke up to find 10 cute kittens in the nest box.. which is a very high litter amount..
I think she's still in labour. I'll have to observe her for any more litters.
