Milito:
Indeed fast. It'd seem France processes Schengen visa faster in Naija than all the others.

I'm even surprised to see that the visa stamp issued date is same day (today) that the passport was returned to VFS and VFS alerted me rightaway.
Yes is the faster in visa insurance. When I travelled in 2019, we submitted application on 27th October, visa issued, 12th November.

It's the day they issue Visa that they send to TLS. Same day or next day. They don't keep passports at the embassy

Sorry it's late, thank you very much.
AKAyomide:
You need to have a good fund like 5-6 Million in your account because personal bank statements must show evidence of your financial situation to ensure you can cover your expenses while abroad. If your appointment date is closer and you have already 2.2M in your account you can still make it up to 6M but make 3 deposits in a day maybe depositing 500K, 200K, and 600K with a solid narrative which serves as a proof of purpose. Notwithstanding; your personal bank account must have a solid transaction history from Withdrawal and Lodgment. Personal; I submitted my personal bank statement with a closing balance of 6.1M for a tourist visa application for seven days with my employer's bank statement with a withdrawal of 135M and Lodgment of 136m and a closing balance of 2.7M. What I know is that your personal bank statement is the primary financial document.

You don’t have to add any extra money to yours if your husband has enough money in his account. You should be good provided you evidence the source of the money in your own account.

davodyguy:
Madam, do not stress yourself

My two Schengens were with my family. France 2020, Italy 2022

On both Occasions, my wife did not submit her personal statement, since I sponsored and the balances in my accounts is more than 10X total cost of the family trip

In your case, your husband is sponsoring. What is the total cost? Does he have enough funds to sponsor? If the answer is yes, just include your personal statement.

It is UK that would be scrutinizing your inflow and outflows. Schengen will focus more on balances and ability to fund the trip

Use both.

You asking about health insurance means you didn't read the requirements well.

You can make reservations on Travelbeta or KLM website. Select option to pay at the bank. The reservation/confirmation is sufficient for your application

Done via Travelbeta. Thank you so much.
My appointment is on the 13th, hope picking January 10th as travel date isn’t too far away? I don’t know if far away dates has any impact on the outcome of the visa.
Earlier travel dates are quite high in price. Thank you

France now uses TLS.

Yes you'll pay their appointment fees, 50k plus. You then pay the proper visa fees at their office.

Be careful with the visa category you select, cos if you made a wrong selection, you'll
have to pay another appoinment fee and source for a new appointment date.

It happened to someone. He was even lucky it was not entirely a new visa fee as visa fees are paid at the visa centre and he was yet to pay the visa fees before the error was discovered.

A question please. My travel purpose is tourism at the same time I would like to dedicate a day to fly to another Schengen country to source for suppliers for my business (not buying any product, just sourcing suppliers for future business transactions) Can I mention this in the itinerary and cover letter? Is it safe to mention that? I am confused if they might deem the purpose of my visit as business and not tourism.
Please advise. Thanks a lot

Hello house, please for those that have traveled before, do I need my travel insurance to board flight?

Will the airline ask for it because Mine has expired 2 days ago though I’m traveling next week for just one week. I’d wish to know maybe I’d make another travel insurance before traveling so that the airline wouldn’t stop me from boarding.

Thanks.

They never asked me for once during my two times travels to the Schengen zone, but it's cheap it's better to do a new one incase of eventualities.

You could be denied entry at the port of entry if you don't have it.

Congratulations!

1. The visa is valid for 90days (within the stated dates), the total number of days you can stay in France or other Schengen countries is 30days. Whether you go in and out 20times.
2. The 30days is the total number of days! Whether on single entry or multiple entry (if you visit 20times, the total number of days you are allowed must be 30days or lesser.
