When Awo was alive, he wouldn't let Ndi Yoruba align with North on that basis under any condition.

The ones that came after him like MKO, OBJ and President Tinubu broke that mould of under any condition but still insisted on being at the head of the top table at some point.

Which is where we are presently, Ndi Yoruba president with strong Ndi Yoruba representation in important places in government.

Fair play to Peter Obi, he too is breaking that subservient mode, but as President Tinubu showed him, shoe get size.

This is a yoruba-sponsored bill meant to feed their selfish interests, seeing that lagos and ogùn states genertate more VATs because of their strategic advantages/locations.

This is not a bill you'll expect all southerners to support because they too, just like the north, will be victims of the reform.

Lagos wants to keep all its huge VATs, which every Nigerian directly or indirectly contributes to, while at the same time partake in sharing the revenues generated from the natural resources in other regions.

If the yorubas who are pushing for this bill are serious, they should go for full resource control.
I'm sure they won't do that.

It never a must that Tinubu should do 8 years. Constitutionally it is the electorates that would determine who and who will occupy the seat of president.
This awkward mentality is what is getting some regions upset.
The presidency rotation between southern states and the northern states is just a mutual understanding and not cast in stone because it is not constitutionally. Just mutual understanding within political interests.
Let me ask you, did heaven falls when Jonathan didn't do second term? Just to let you know that doing two terms wasn't cast in stone but just a mutual understanding on political ground.

Please do you care to explain the above? Was Jonathan not the president for 6 years? Didn't he surrounded himself with technocrats that are of igbo origins? The Lekki deep sea port we are celebrating in Lagos today was initiated by Tinubu when he was the governor then but due to legislative act and funding it didn't manifest on time so when Tinubu was initiating it then what were the SS and SE doing then?
