Free2Fly:I think you should read up on the bill, it has been brilliantly explained by a lot of people on here. For you to tribalise it suggests you haven't or someone who hadn't explained it to you. |

Believeintruth:The person I responded to talked about Ndigbo and Ndijaw. I am not perfect but would be lying if I said I voted who I didnt. That I didn't vote the government doesn't stop me hailing their achievements, I am not a bitter Obidient. |

Believeintruth:This question is for the person I responded to who said SE legislators "condemned" the bill. I go by what people say, if you can prove the poster was wrong, I would be happy to delete my post or modify it to reflect the facts you provided. I have done so before more than once. |
| Re: Ọbabìnrin Adérónkẹ́ Threatens To Break Nigeria If North Kills Tax Reform Bills by aswani(m): 4:59am On Dec 02, 2024 |
Believeintruth:Again I made my comments based on what was posted. I said "maybe" to the Biafra aspect of my post, I am sure you can see why it is plausible if SE legislators are against the bill en-masse. There was no disparagment of Biafra in my post as it happens. If you read further, instead of seeing red at the mention of Biafra, I argued against the poster's assertion that South Eastern states were particularly basket cases. |

Believeintruth:I have encountered cr7lomo a few times. Based on his rabid bitterness and anger about anything Ndi Yoruba, I can confidently say he is an Ndigbo Obidient that is still unhappy about President Tinubu slapping the taste out of Peter Obi's mouth in the last elections. Besides, Ndigbo did vote PDP everytime, except last time when they voted LP so what I have said about Ndigbo is right giving the context. |

Tinubu just want to test how popular he is in the North. They will show him shege promax. If that bill passes, you know that it is not North we are dealing with. Their interest comes first and their interest is revenue from all sources including from your beer and expensive champagne |

Believeintruth:You clearly are tweaked by the house negro reference, you must get over that by yourself. I am not going to waste my time defending Akintola or Arisekola. Awolowo was certainly not what you described him as. A group of military people went to beg him to be a central part of their government in trying times for the country. When the war ended and he realised the military boys were not ready to handover to civilians, he resigned on principle. This is despite being begged to stay on board. Gowon is still alive, go and ask him how important Awo was in his cabinet. There is a reason why some policies in Gowon's administration are clearly ascribed to him, when he spoke, the rest of the cabinet listened and implemented them without question. You mustn't just look at my post, you must look at the poster and post I am responding to in order to see the context. |

IGBOPROMISE1:I have a nasty feeling these people are planning a repeat of 1966. That's the only plausible reason they've repeatedly failed to promote government policies and success but rather focused demonizing one particular tribe for no sensible reason. I pray I'm wrong but history is a stubborn donkey |

aswani:Yes, it has been ''brilliantly explained'' by the yoruba supporters of the bill. I don't need their explanations. Your last sentence presupposes i can't understand basic things by myself. That's absolute nonsense! Btw, what has Tinubu not tribalize in his administration?? How many Igbos are in his government, even where federal character is needed? Why do you guys always focus on those who follow the steps you have chosen, instead of on yourselves who took the wrong step in the first place? |

Believeintruth:No one is threatening anyone. My point is that Yoruba's always find ways to get what they want as valuable people are able to do. When Buhari held the entire South to ransom with Fulani herdsmen menace who acted, while others looked on helplessly like mumus, to create Amotekun and unilaterally ban open grazing in their region? Abi any of your governors joined Yoruba governors to make the demand below in 2021? You people should thank God for putting Yorubas in Nigeria because you all make a lot of empty braggart noise but when evil shows face you all hide bar the Yorubas. I know this and so does the North so no need for long back and forth. We will see how it goes with the bill.

CSTRR:Jonathan is not Tinubu and Tinubu is not Jonathan. Even you yourself acknowledged Tinubu up there for defeating Tinubu. Remember that in 2003, PDP won all the SW states except Lagos. The political strategies are still there. Let me share you a secret; before Jagaban won 2023 election; he had already planned for 2027. One thing I learnt from his political journey; before you carry out any action, plan ahead for the worst case scenario. That will enable you to block every loopholes. |

Bullet4thiefnub:Please do you care to explain the above? Was Jonathan not the president for 6 years? Didn't he surrounded himself with technocrats that are of igbo origins? Was Obi not part of Jonathan's economic team? What happened to your people in negotiating seaports and airports when they were in power indirectly? Or your governors and technocrats in power forgot to negotiate about that. The Lekki deep sea port we are celebrating in Lagos today was initiated by Tinubu when he was the governor then but due to legislative act and funding it didn't manifest on time so when Tinubu was initiating it then what were the SS and SE doing then? Blaming SW for your woes. Kwantinu you hear and don't hold your state governors responsible. |
| Re: Ọbabìnrin Adérónkẹ́ Threatens To Break Nigeria If North Kills Tax Reform Bills by IfnobeGod20(m): 6:55am On Dec 02, 2024 |
Magnumproperty:It never a must that Tinubu should do 8 years. Constitutionally it is the electorates that would determine who and who will occupy the seat of president. This awkward mentality is what is getting some regions upset. The presidency rotation between southern states and the northern states is just a mutual understanding and not cast in stone because it is not constitutionally. Just mutual understanding within political interests. Let me ask you, did heaven falls when Jonathan didn't do second term? Just to let you know that doing two terms wasn't cast in stone but just a mutual understanding on political ground. |

Zooposki:They play... If SW pulls out, you think the average SS or Middle belt will stay with the North? Or you've forgotten the shege the North shows your son, GEJ when he was the president? Just dey play. SW pulls out; the SE and SS will have no choice than to pull out also. |

IfnobeGod20:And that mutual understanding must be respected. And as for Jonathan; so many forces were against him. Obasanjo was his godfather then. But he refused to listen to his Godfather and his godfather supporter his enemies (BAT and Buhari, Saraki and G5 governors) and he was defeated. Jonathan had so many enemies and they ganged up against him. Jagaban has no godfather; he is the godfather himself. The kingmaker! So how do you expect a kingmaker to lost elections? The igbos hasn't tasted the presidency for so long just because they have refused to learn the political strategies. My brother or sister; only God can stop Tinubu. |

Believeintruth:Please, did Igbo governors not sit on the fence over open grazing while Yorubas decisively championed and enforced it? Simple yes or no because history exists that shows the spineless actions and inactions of Igbo Governors, too petrified of Buhari, during that time. Amotekun too, or similar, Igbo Governors were too scared to even mention till Yorubas initiated the moved and gave the security outfit legal status through their State houses of assembly. Only after Yorubas had worked to deliver Amotekun that your cowardly opportunists rushed to create Ebubeagu. Look, there are too many examples that shows what Igbo leaders, and Igbo men by extension, are. It is why Bianca Ojukwu said Igbo land is no longer producing men but "one man down" opportunists. I bet as, usual, you will argue blindly and aimlessly since Igbo man never respects facts and documented history but instead prefers to make rubbish up, tell "Buhari is dead and cloned" lies or create fake news. Oya na, insult Bianca for her claims below since you lot love denying korokoro truth. No one respect Igbo leaders whereas Yorubas, whatever their fault may be, are generally respected and regarded. https://newsinvestigatorsng.com/we-lack-credible-leaders-in-igbo-land-bianca-ojukwu-explodes/?amp=1 WE LACK CREDIBLE LEADERS IN IGBO LAND -BIANCA OJUKWU EXPLODES |

Magnumproperty:They just love making wild, ludicrous and unsubstantiated claims so they appear victims always while insisting others, like the Yorubas, are perpetrators. Imagine the idiocy of publicly making the ridiculous claim Yorubas prevented the siting of ports in other regions of the South outside the SW when Tinubu achieved some of greatest feats for Lagos, like Eko Atlantic and LFTZ, while opposition governor with a President who hated him passionately in OBJ. Somehow Igbos could not reverse all the negatives they stated was done to them, courtesy of the Yorubas, when they were the darling of GEJ's cabinet for the five years he was President. Anyway, what does one expect from a people who had the audacity to insist Buhari had died to be secretly replaced by a Jubrin from Sudan? Totally delusional and dishonest folks who don't care how they appear with their outrageous claims. |
