Are you for real? The constitutional rights of choice that when it's time for punishment, we all suffer it together? That's not fair. That's shouldn't be a slogan for any nation, any people that needs positive development.
You're just being emotional. The right to vote and be voted for is sacrosanct. You can't Rob others of the freedom to vote who they want.

I’d rather go with a thief with more humane mind that a crook who’s identity is debatable.
Everything about your broda TIFNUBU is debatable, name, parents, age, certificates omo I know some Yoruba are wise but it’s sad enough that folks like you makes the bigger number
You people are just undemocratic elements and sore losers. Folks are allowed to vote for their candidate off choice. Someone who understands the tenets of democracy won't be ranting as you and OP are.

Please let's be reasonable as educated adults. How would your preferred candidate in the last election have generated the funds to keep paying subsidies and defending the naira? Pray tell us from where he would have gotten the money.

Or do you think ifObi or Atiku had won they would still be selling fuel at #200?

Have many of those people who exercise that freedom of voting are proud of their actions now?

Exactly. That's how an average black man behave. Once it's favouring them, they wouldn't complain even if every other person's dies. I'm not surprise

There should have been a change of government for us to experience another phase. How can we be crying inside a fring pan, then some of you collective decided to vote us (move us further) to fire?

Its a natural human phenomenon. You support your tribeman because you think you would benefit. But in reality only 0.00001% benefits ( appointments, jobs and contracts). In America some people voted based on race and sex. Politicians understand the game and keep playing us
Too bad

OP, you will not get any definite answer to the question you are asking, Nigeria needs to be totally restructured (Power decentralization to states/regions) or divided to restore some of kind of sanity when it comes to tribalism and religious bigotry among Nigerians on tackling national issues and electons..... I've made several posts why this is necessary....

Is too obvious now. I shouldn't be the one telling you. I'm sure you're aware. So many of you civil servants, your salary in a year can't even pay your house rent right now. compare to before.

It does not matter. They get the chance to vote differently in 2027 if that is their wish. You are just talking like most crude Nigerians who want to decieve others they mean well yet they are undemocratic, wicked and violent.

Should people be, jailed, beaten or killed because of election choices they made because I don't understand your incoherent talk here. Democracy is about respecting the choice of others. Anyone who does not understand that concept, or has a problem with it, is likely an IPOB layabout or cannibal. The sort Brutally and dictatorially killing people because they disobey Sit-at-home garbage.

It's obvious the ethnic group you are from because of your dictatorial and undemocratic mindset. Respecting the electoral choice of others, they are constitutionally free to make, is alien to you folks. Oya go and Beg Remi to poison PBAT na. Rubbish.

I do understand your write-up. It is the same garbage of "tribalistic people voted and we are now in trouble" when you are the tribalistic person just upset because your Kinsman did not win. We know you people and your obsession with seeking to blame others, like the Yorubas, for Tinubu's win.

Why is it hard to understand the fundamentals of what others have gone through worldwide if truly intelligent, progressive and Liberal? Leaders come in and introduce tough reforms, as is their prerogative to do, so that tomorrow can be better. It is not today and it is not less than even 50 nations that have gone through similar in the last 100 years.

I'm trying to understand something here.
Why is it that during election, we become divided, tribalistic, religious and die hard followers of bad government (politicians), but when it's time for consequence, we collectively received it together?

I can vividly remember during the last election, with one of my friend, we almost lost our friendship because of his support to this present government. Today he's also complaining. Things are hard.
But I'm still sure if by tomorrow his tribal person stand to contest against another different person, he will still choose his tribal brother over the other. no matter how bad his tribal person is. That's the exact behavior of many Nigerians.

Why are we like that?
Even though we suffer, once it comes to religion, tribalism. We wouldn't mind the stress. But why?
And what can save us from these bondage?
election results shows igbos voted their own the most in d last election n never voted others whereas they got voted by others

So who voted along tribal lines?

Thank you and God bless. They are the biggest hypocrites on Earth. When virtually all Igbos voted Obi it was "meritocratic voting". Yet Yorubas who split their votes between BAT, Atiku and Obi are"tribalistic voters". They ought to try, now and then, to make itt make sense.

Where did I mention my tribal person in my write up? The same problem is what is limiting us. What's up with this tribal war in your heart? Alot of you tends to narrow everything to tribal war and at the end, we remain at the same spot for many years.
