Nigerians love cheap articles and Temu is there to deliver. This will remove them from the evil clutches of Jumia, Konga, Dealdey and the many so-called indigenous brands which perform zero quality analysis on their goods.

Honestly, i feel like jumia is not a serious company. Jumia has what is takes to dominate the African e-commerce market but it seems their management just aren't ambitious.
I don’t think it’s that. I think it’s the fact that where you can purchase things online now has escalated. Look at those online vendors, they’re just too much in circulation..

Another thing is that these Gen-z that loves snapping pictures would prefer to go buy things physically so that they can snap and brag with it..

So it’s better for Jumia not to be wasting money than to be wasting money. Jumia is already known and people are still very much using them! Nobody stays ontop forever! It’s just what it is!

App has a backdoor which they use to access confidential information you have stored in your phones.

If they can do this to the US with better customer protection laws than all of Africa combined, then we're going to get crazily exploited like never before.
This is the main aim of the app. It will be easy for them in Africa cuz of the greedy nature. Somebody up there was already saying things they sell are cheap - I just smile..

They’re called Spy Apps!

So what do you propose they use?
Cash?

The CBN already did the needful, I have been using my Naira card to buy on many international online market places with no issue for about a month now.

You can even check out on Aliexpress using your Opay account (Yes i say account not card) but of course, your Opay card (which is even a Verve card) works too.

I already compete a transaction on Temu and their prices are stated in Naira and again I use my Opay Verve card to check out.

You can try your bank card on any platform to confirm.
Have you recieved your orders or they are still pending? FYI, No one has come out to testify that they got what they ordered from Temu.

hogwash.

temu has a rating of 2.4 on both BBB and trustpilot, both of which are some of the most reputable online review platforms in the western world. if their quality control is as good as you say, then the problems mentioned in those reviews would not exist. it is just one of the many and nothing better.

I used my Opay card.

Although I noticed they are now doing otp verification.

My first order (which i have received) went smooth with my Opay card without any OTP verification. But my recent order they have introduced OTP verification and once you entered the OTP sent to your line the payment will be successful

Thanks for the response. I will try my opay card again, I just remembered I have auto save to Owealth on by default and that might be the reason for the to card decline.
