While ipob members are dying for Biafra course, their leaders like ekpa is just a mere content creator. Ekpa is not a member of IPOB. Google that. I don't know why this is so hard for you guys to understand. He was running his own thing from Finland even when Kanu was free. He managed to draw the attention of Kanu who likes his style. When Kanu was arrested, Ekpa tried stepping in. The guys at IPOB who seem to have been compromised refused him full authority. For whatever reasons, they were uncomfortable with him taking the mantle at IPOB. They actually wanted to control his messaging. He quickly moved back to his own structures and simply doubled down on everyone, including IPOB. Countless online materials where he was berating IPOB. Countly ess materias online where the guys at IPOB have been denying him since Kanus incarceration. So IPOB is largely different from Ekpas organisation. Truth is that associating Ekpa with IPOB was a strategy used by government to destabilize Southeast. I don't know their gain in such cruelty. Ekpa emerged after arrest of Kanu and started a new violent agitation for his release under the name Biafra Liberation Army then later declared his exile republic with a name. These things have always been in the open but Government strategy was to declare armed robbers, kidnappers, Ekpa's militant group, the other militant group in Bakassi and every armed criminals as IPOB thereby complicating the insecurity. 5 Likes |
