The mother of the deceased Dowen College student died after a protracted illness, two years after the untimely death of her youngest son, Sylvester Oromoni Jr.

Since 2021, when her 12-year-old son was at the center of a highly publicized case involving claims of abuse at his school, Mrs. Oromoni has been in excruciating pain.

According to a family source, her health had steadily declined over time as a result of the psychological toll that losing her son had taken on her. Even with medical assistance and the steadfast support of family members, Mrs.

Oromoni passed away on November 25, 2024, after her health issues became unmanageable. Her son's tragic death has left her family and supporters in deep sorrow, underscoring the ongoing suffering brought on by their quest for justice.

In addition to losing a devoted mother, the Oromoni family is currently grieving the loss of a beloved son, whose memories serve as a powerful reminder of the need for justice and healing.
