The only thing he or she got correct was the first bullet point. The rest was not just information from me.
I feel they just used another person’s profile to judge mine lol.

Good evening everyone, I was just refused a visit visa.
But I’m not quite sure I’m the one the officer is addressing on the refusing note.
Yes, I was to visit the UK for 7 days on tourism.
They said I loaned person money, I never loaned anyone money and I didn’t say anything like that on my application. All the funds on my bank account belongs to me and I don’t understand the terminology.
They said there’s a difference between my actual income and income stated on my VAF, this is not true, I don’t think they were addressing my file.
They said I stated none of my family dependents are in my home country, I do not understand this sentence as I clearly stated I have family here and I live with them, I don’t really know if they were really reading my documents or someone else maybe. Buts it’s okay, but I just feel this is opposite of the information I put on my online form.
Sis,

Take time to read the refusal again.

It's 100% your fault, not the case officer.

Except if the officer didn't say the truth as per what you posted in your form

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Jolene474(f): 8:34pm On Dec 03, 2024
I’m just telling you none of the things written on the refusal relates to me lol.
I never said anything about loaning money to friends, neither did I say I have no family in Nigeria or is my income not stated on the form.
Please where can I see the email address for reconsideration?

The officer claimed that you VAF says you loaned someone money

That you don't have dependent in Nigeria.

Did you fill that you have dependent in Nigeria like child or older parents?

Hello everyone. Please I need advise on this issue.
My visa got rejected last month.
I am 42,married with 4kids. I applied for visiting visa to see my sister nd her husband, they were the sponsors nd provided funds.
I didn't submit my bank account, I only submitted my cac documents and said I make 5million naira annually.
But I was rejected on the grounds I didn't have enough funds.
I'm confused because since I'm not sponsoring myself for my entire stay, I don't know why they are concerned about my funds. Please I need advise on what to do next.
I cannot submit my bank details because my money is not consistent. Please I need advise from anyone that has experienced this and I have attached refusal letter below. Thanks

I’ve traveled before and I’m sure I never used the term loan someone money my VAF lol I didn’t even put any information about that, my application was for me and I stated I have an older father and sibling who live with me.
I don’t know where that phrase that I don’t have any dependents come from honestly, that’s why I said to can’t even understand the refusal note cus it seems it’s not for me.

If it's just one point that is correct, you can reapply and state that in a letter that the issues used in determining your refusal may have been mixed up.

But fix the only part that you said the ECO is correct.

This December for detty well, unfortunately this happened.

I had a refusal for Australia in year 2017 which the ECO got wrongly. I reapplied and it was case officer that handled it, but corrected himself afterwards by granting the visa

“The documents and information you have submitted in support of your application
indicate significant differences between actual income and the income stated on your
VAF, and due to the discrepancies, I am not satisfied that you have demonstrated
your financial circumstances to be as stated. Based on the documents submitted and
information available I am not satisfied that you have demonstrated your personal
and financial circumstances are as stated.”
Another blunder the ECO made was this, my monthly salary after tax is N742,356.85 and this was the same amount I entered on the VAF, how then did they come to this conclusion that there are discrepancies, I even attached my pay slip.
I think they got so many jobs that they just messed up everything, cuz I know what I wrote on the VAF and it corresponds with my salary to my bank.

The person that handled it can't even write in good English. I guess it was treated in one of their hubs outside UK.

Reapply and do a cover letter to address the perceived errors, you'll be granted.

You can do that as soon as possible

This visa officers just doing any how , is like they don’t even read the application properly they will just give refusal, they do that to me last 3 weeks , I sent a paid mail with very long explanation, they refly I have no right of appeal but if am not satisfied I can escalate it, I escalate it and after like some 2 weeks they sent a mail to me to submit my passport that the decision has been overturned and my visa is approved, so I submitted my passport with the mail yesterday, I was refused 5 times including it now, so am fedup and send a very long mail.

Pls do you have an idea how long france transit visa takes.

By the grace of God
KLM and Air France.

They're both cheaper than Air Peace, Air Maroc and Egypt Air, but you need transit[/quote]

Draft a comprehensive email talking about the refusal grounds and how those claims didn’t apply to your application.

Base on your advice that I should visit another country,I will need your help to guide me on how to prepare a Schengen tourist visa for country like Spain,

Because I recall that you have been granted Schengen visa before.

1)What are the documents list for self employed?

2) Do I need to book and pay for a tour, because I was refused Spain visa in January this year with my family of three, then I did not book and pay for a tour,I use free tour, the reason in there refused letter, was that they tick the purpose of travel not Relaible

I want to reapply alone without my family by next year for the same Spain visa.kindly guide me to a successful outcome

Please is a hotel reservation alone sufficient for the point of entry immigration officers? Or it must be a paid booking. Incase they ask & call the hotel to confirm.

Make sure you know your destination and have a clear itinerary. Plans can change, and they understand that. You need to have sufficient funds, whether in cash or on cards, along with proper arrangements for your accommodation as a genuine tourist.
You are allowed to say you want to pay at the hotel.
Also, if you've changed your hotel, that’s okay, but be ready to provide details about where you'll be staying. Everything should have a clear answer, especially since it’s your first time

Regarding your travel history to the UK, having only traveled to Rwanda doesn’t demonstrate relevant experience, but that’s not the main issue here. If there are errors, they didn’t adequately assess your application after you paid the fee, and based on that oversight(technicality), you might be eligible for a visa.
The other points you’re raising are unnecessary. For the last time, just send the worded email and wait for the outcome instead of overspeaking and overthinking.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Jolene474(f): 11:35am On Dec 04, 2024
Thank you, but I’m not the one who travelled to Rwanda.
I’ve to 5 countries and I don’t think that is even an issue, my point is the reasons the officer gave for the refusal is strange to me as non of those information was in my application. I’m confident they mistook by application for another person because I’ve gone to check all my submitted documents and VAF and none related to what the ECO described on the refusal note.
I didn’t loan anybody money, I didn’t miss write my monthly salary as allege on the refusal note.

So what can I do differently this time.please.i plan to reapply in January.
Last time is submitted
1.application letter,
2.birth certificate,
3.my sister's birth certificate,
4.cac docs,
5.marriage certificate and letter from my husband, 6.sponsorship and invitation letter from my sis and brother in law.
I'm thinking of using fixed deposit account, to show I have funds. Or do I say I am in a salaried employment and build savings for months before re applying?

As an adult that is not an aged parent to the UK sponsor, your circumstances would be the focus when assessing your visa application, not those of your brother in law. For him to fully sponsor you, there must be compelling reasons for the Entry Clearance Officer (ECO) to grant you a visa. My advice is to set aside the idea of your brother in law’s sponsorship; it won't influence their decision. Instead, focus on demonstrating to the ECOs that you are eligible and not a potential immigrant despite your relative sponsoring you.
Be prepared to provide your routine account statement, not just a fixed deposit. They need to see how you support yourself and your economic situation in your own country- reapply next month and be sure of another refusal.
Too bad if you are not currently employed. It won’t work.

Thank you very much.
What if Im able to show proof of being in a salaried employment. Then build up my account for about 6 to 8 months(with consistent salary coming in) before re applying . Will they consider the fact that I said I owned a business previously and reject the application?
Also, how much will be a good monthly salary please.

I stated that balances in accounts is a factor. The ECOs mostly use the word 'your personal financial circumstances'

You need to be above average, own a landed property at least even if it is a land of N500,000 in the village
