Hello all, please I’ve been waiting for a decision on a visitors visa application which has been carried out since 22nd November, and it’s still at DMC stage. Is there anyone else who made their visiting visa application in November and still waiting, because I’ve been following this thread and some people who applied even in January have gotten their applications approved already. Is there a special issue or so ? Or is the UKVI clearing applications from the earlier batch, it’s been so frustrating… |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by leef2022: 9:48pm On Feb 03, 2022 |
Gentlesoul3268: Why would you do that to the other 2 or whomever would be left behind and not go for the vacation at this time, they may feel unloved, kind of cut off your plans for them(it could hit them psychologically and emotionally in a way you won't understand), you are indirectly using them as pawns; for travel history/visa, a home tie? c'mon you would be better off planning on how to better convince the ECO with their application, that your family would be away for sometime to the UK and would return to you and share their beautiful experiences of their vacation in the UK with you. If it were to go build a career, to settle and later to return for the kids and you joining as well. Like, that would be understandable, would be mild reasonable to go 1st with the youngest whom would fair poorly without the mother, but to, cut 1 or 2 off for no concrete reasons is unfair. Man listen there are better ways to go about this, and have your family (wife and kids go enjoy themselves), unless you are not financially capable and may wish to keep planning... 3 Likes 1 Share |

Please for those that recently apply for a visit visa, do you know if the Priority option is now available and how easy is it to see the biometrics date? Thank you |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Franklin54: 12:11am On Feb 04, 2022 |
Please is it possible to turn a visit visa to a work visa if I get a job ready to sponsor that for me? That’s if I’m already in the UK with a visit visa |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by leef2022: 12:15am On Feb 04, 2022 |
Franklin54: No, it is NOT POSSIBLE. You will have to visit Nigeria to apply for the tier 2 visa(work visa). A good company that issues cos wouldn't even want to do that, as they could loose their right. So be careful that you aint signing up for slavery(work and no pay) it exist and you won't be able to do anything cause you would be working illegally. Never say never give it a try!!!! 2 Likes |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by leef2022: 12:48am On Feb 04, 2022 |
DFmum: Absolutely, if he is issued the visa based on previous documents. And the ban is not-existing no more. If he is refused, you are entitled to another AR no cost. If you paid the solicitor a fee for this AR, the mail states they would return you the cost if you laid claim for that as well, some lawyers are good in sketching figures... |

I will submit this supporting doc as follows: my saving account where I transferred the sponsorship fund, my salary account, payslips, work ID card, My wife will submit her previous bank statement, current bank statement , payslips, employment letter , leave letter, work ID card. You mentioned how to write a convincing cover letter to Eco? Can you come up with anyone let me see and join it with my write up. I will address the previous refusal and explain it in details. Please any contribution? leef2022: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by leef2022: 12:53am On Feb 04, 2022 |
Gentlesoul3268: what is your wife's previous bank statement for in regards to the new application? you dont need that.. Submit a current bank statement and other supporting documents you have mentioned. Btw, were you able to write the complaint? if so, you might want to wait a bit more to see if you will get a response before re-applying You want to submit two bank statements? Salary and non salary acc statements, is that correct? the funds you transferred to her did you transfer from salary acc to non-salary account then to hers? you says you have a travel history right? where did you visit? Your response(s) would help in drafting a sample of note/letters for you... Thanks |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 1:30am On Feb 04, 2022 |
DFmum:they have sent back to the original caseworker to make decision on the visa. You have to now wait for the outcome from this caseworker. If he or she denies you, you can still go back for AR again. Goodluck |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Gentlesoul3268: 8:43am On Feb 04, 2022 |
Maybe you are right lol, what I really mean is that if you are receiving your salary in a particular acct that called salary account. That doesn't mean you can't have another saving account for your personal use to receiving a non salary payment, for example sold a car, buy a car, paying bills, general payment etc uchman: |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Joyousgem: 9:30am On Feb 04, 2022 |
Gentlesoul3268: Basically, you need to provide a credible proof to explain the source of funds in any accounts you will be submitting to support your family's application. Ofcourse you can have as many accounts as you want, but if the bulk of funds is coming from a non salary account, then logic dictates that you explain the source of the funds with clear evidence. Put yourself in the ECO's shoes, when you look through your application what questions do you have for yourself. Have you demonstrated strong socio-economic and family ties. Be honest with yourself. Once you've identified those weak areas, ensure you address those areas with supporting documents and a strong support letter. |

I could sense your genuineness and anger towards the refusal. This application was close to perfection as you stated in all your responses. Believe me if you reapply again I don't think there is anything more you can add to the application. Infact I fear you not adding other things that might implicate and frustrate your chances. The refusal is very clear and an insight for you. Infact I think this is your best chance, if i were you i will never reapply and will just go for administrative review. If they are denying applicants then denial should be justly. They claimed sources of 1.5m was unknown which you presented a sponsorship letter claiming as hubby, you added marriage cert to justify as hubby, you presented children birth certificate as father, you stated in cover letter source of fund and other stuffs, and what more do they want? Reapplication will cost you over 200k, read back the thread on how to go for a review. Write a detailed mail how your family were denied unjustly, be aggressive towards your complaints without being rude, prove to them you are not desperate but not happy with the judgement. Send the refusal letter, the documents you submitted and give detailed illustrations on the documents, use biro or marker to illustrate and buttress your points on the documents, scan the illustrated documents and attach to your email. Oga abeg display your skills with grammar and level of education (lol, don't mind me). If they don't give visa not all Nigerians are fools after taking due process. Even if you are reapplying later, doing this will not cost you a dime. You will not regret this step and if it is otherwise then reapply. This is my opinion and based on experience. You can still follow your heart.
