Hello all, please I’ve been waiting for a decision on a visitors visa application which has been carried out since 22nd November, and it’s still at DMC stage.

Is there anyone else who made their visiting visa application in November and still waiting, because I’ve been following this thread and some people who applied even in January have gotten their applications approved already.

Is there a special issue or so ? Or is the UKVI clearing applications from the earlier batch, it’s been so frustrating…

@AskGod07, @Loyaltysoul, @Gentlesoul3268 pls kindly report on here for course work GenUKVI Part 5..

What is so much of a concern if your husband or you sponsoring your wife with a Non-salary account?

Is the account not credible, authentic, genuine? why the worry pls?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by leef2022: 9:48pm On Feb 03, 2022
Gentlesoul3268:
Giselle thx to your insight , I will follow what you just said now, maybe my wife should go with one kid or two out of 3 kids,

Can you guide me on how I can go about the 1.5m I transferred to my wife account through my saving account? Now I wanted to submit the account that indicates the 1.5m I transferred for sponsorship before they are refused last 2 weeks due to ECO said unknown transfers made onto her acct if you remember ? It's only her monthly salary and 1.5m sponsorship fund,

You advised me not to complicating thing, now I have ready to re-apply now can 4 of them that they refused last time should put in together? Since I will address the reason they are denied ? Or not all of them?

Also my saving acct I used to transferred the funds I want to submit the statements and I hope the Eco won't be asking for the source of the money? Although I have writing new sponsorship letter that states that my saving acct dedicated for receiving non salary account, pay bills and utilities, general payment. I I'll add my salary account with my payslip and appointment letter

Why would you do that to the other 2 or whomever would be left behind and not go for the vacation at this time, they may feel unloved, kind of cut off your plans for them(it could hit them psychologically and emotionally in a way you won't understand), you are indirectly using them as pawns; for travel history/visa, a home tie? c'mon you would be better off planning on how to better convince the ECO with their application, that your family would be away for sometime to the UK and would return to you and share their beautiful experiences of their vacation in the UK with you.
If it were to go build a career, to settle and later to return for the kids and you joining as well. Like, that would be understandable, would be mild reasonable to go 1st with the youngest whom would fair poorly without the mother, but to, cut 1 or 2 off for no concrete reasons is unfair.
Man listen there are better ways to go about this, and have your family (wife and kids go enjoy themselves), unless you are not financially capable and may wish to keep planning...

Re your question in Part 4; I was at TLS Ikeja 2 dats ago and was told by two of the hustlers there that it would be best to take it up with my bank as it is most likely a dispense error issue. I have done just that and proceeded to pay again while Access bank sorts it out.

Thanks a lot for this.
I’ve contacted my bank as well expecting a reversal or update within next 3 working day.

It's unfair really.

Please for those that recently apply for a visit visa, do you know if the Priority option is now available and how easy is it to see the biometrics date?

Thank you

Please is it possible to turn a visit visa to a work visa if I get a job ready to sponsor that for me? That’s if I’m already in the UK with a visit visa

No, it is NOT POSSIBLE. You will have to visit Nigeria to apply for the tier 2 visa(work visa). A good company that issues cos wouldn't even want to do that, as they could loose their right. So be careful that you aint signing up for slavery(work and no pay) it exist and you won't be able to do anything cause you would be working illegally.
Never say never give it a try!!!!

Absolutely, if he is issued the visa based on previous documents. And the ban is not-existing no more.
If he is refused, you are entitled to another AR no cost.

If you paid the solicitor a fee for this AR, the mail states they would return you the cost if you laid claim for that as well, some lawyers are good in sketching figures...

I will submit this supporting doc as follows: my saving account where I transferred the sponsorship fund, my salary account, payslips, work ID card,

My wife will submit her previous bank statement, current bank statement , payslips, employment letter , leave letter, work ID card.

You mentioned how to write a convincing cover letter to Eco? Can you come up with anyone let me see and join it with my write up.

I will address the previous refusal and explain it in details.

Please any contribution?

what is your wife's previous bank statement for in regards to the new application? you dont need that.. Submit a current bank statement and other supporting documents you have mentioned.
Btw, were you able to write the complaint? if so, you might want to wait a bit more to see if you will get a response before re-applying

You want to submit two bank statements? Salary and non salary acc statements, is that correct? the funds you transferred to her did you transfer from salary acc to non-salary account then to hers? you says you have a travel history right? where did you visit?

Your response(s) would help in drafting a sample of note/letters for you...
Thanks

they have sent back to the original caseworker to make decision on the visa. You have to now wait for the outcome from this caseworker. If he or she denies you, you can still go back for AR again. Goodluck

That's not true royalmu I am not desperate, do you see all my questions or when I posted the refusal letter? I'm just seeking one of two advise here for my family, it's my wife and kids that applied and refused for unknown transfers onto my wife acct which is not true.

in other hand, saving account can not be quarry how the money get into it. Savings means money you gather from wherever for a rainy day, having salary account doesn't stop someone not to have a saving account.

Brother,
If you can read this your write up again, you will notice that you have literally answered your questions or you are contradicting yourself...

Can't a salary account be savings account?

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Gentlesoul3268: 8:43am On Feb 04, 2022
Maybe you are right lol, what I really mean is that if you are receiving your salary in a particular acct that called salary account.

That doesn't mean you can't have another saving account for your personal use to receiving a non salary payment, for example sold a car, buy a car, paying bills, general payment etc

what is your wife's previous bank statement for in regards to the new application? you dont need that.. for clerify the previous refusal that all the money came in is her monthly salary and the 1.2m sponsorship fund I transferred by circle each of the pmt and write salary and sponsorship fund.

Submit a current bank statement and other supporting documents you have mentioned.
Btw, were you able to write the complaint?
yes have wrote the complaint dept.

if so, you might want to wait a bit more to see if you will get a response before re-applying my sister that wrote them for her own application got no response for almost 2 month but re apply and got her visa

You want to submit two bank statements? Salary and non salary acc statements, is that correct? YES

the funds you transferred to her did you transfer from salary acc to non-salary account then to hers?
The fund I transferred to her did not transfer from my salary acct, I have sum money in my non-saving acct before that I transfer to her salary acct. This money is not just sitting in the acct but with a good outflow and once a while I use it to receiving payment when I sold something like my cars or buy a new car for personal use.

you says you have a travel history right? YES
where did you visit?
I visit South Africa spend 3 days with a multiple visa but didn't use it till the visa expired last yes now planning to visit France this easter.

Your response(s) would help in drafting a sample of note/letters for you...

Basically, you need to provide a credible proof to explain the source of funds in any accounts you will be submitting to support your family's application.

Ofcourse you can have as many accounts as you want, but if the bulk of funds is coming from a non salary account, then logic dictates that you explain the source of the funds with clear evidence.

Put yourself in the ECO's shoes, when you look through your application what questions do you have for yourself. Have you demonstrated strong socio-economic and family ties. Be honest with yourself. Once you've identified those weak areas, ensure you address those areas with supporting documents and a strong support letter.

Basically, you need to provide a credible proof to explain the source of funds in any accounts you will be submitting to support your family's application. I have a paying good job of NGN 550k after tax, my saving acct we are talking about is my personal account I used for non salary payment only like when I sold my car this is the acct I use to receive the pmt, and this fund is meant for my houseupkeeping, most time I transfer fund from my salary acct to my saving acct.

Ofcourse you can have as many accounts as you want, but if the bulk of funds is coming from a non salary account, then logic dictates that you explain the source of the funds with clear evidence.
Of course I will explain it which I'm here to seek for advise on how to put it right, explaining it like the acct meant for receiving non salary acct which they will also understand that I have a right to have other acct apart from my salary acct that shows massive outflows,

Put yourself in the ECO's shoes, when you look through your application what questions do you have for yourself. Have you demonstrated strong socio-economic and family ties. Be honest with yourself. Once you've identified those weak areas, ensure you address those areas with supporting documents and a strong support letter. we have a property in children and my wife name which I just bought before the refusal came in, also another property in my own name, my wife is also working with a monthly salary of 250k , there's no rules says that kids can not travel for vacation with their parents either one of the parents.

please bros I need more insight and your contribution towards their re apply, why the reason Eco refused their previous application is that there's unknown transfer made onto my wife acct, since I transfer the sponsorship fund to her acct I didn't submit non of my acct then to back the money I transferred but I wrote a sensible sponsorship letter in details.

This saving acct we are talking about I have printed 4 month bank statement to submit with opening balance of 6million plus with 10k closing balance, this acct have massive outflows for our personal life

I could sense your genuineness and anger towards the refusal. This application was close to perfection as you stated in all your responses. Believe me if you reapply again I don't think there is anything more you can add to the application. Infact I fear you not adding other things that might implicate and frustrate your chances. The refusal is very clear and an insight for you. Infact I think this is your best chance, if i were you i will never reapply and will just go for administrative review. If they are denying applicants then denial should be justly. They claimed sources of 1.5m was unknown which you presented a sponsorship letter claiming as hubby, you added marriage cert to justify as hubby, you presented children birth certificate as father, you stated in cover letter source of fund and other stuffs, and what more do they want? Reapplication will cost you over 200k, read back the thread on how to go for a review. Write a detailed mail how your family were denied unjustly, be aggressive towards your complaints without being rude, prove to them you are not desperate but not happy with the judgement. Send the refusal letter, the documents you submitted and give detailed illustrations on the documents, use biro or marker to illustrate and buttress your points on the documents, scan the illustrated documents and attach to your email. Oga abeg display your skills with grammar and level of education (lol, don't mind me). If they don't give visa not all Nigerians are fools after taking due process. Even if you are reapplying later, doing this will not cost you a dime. You will not regret this step and if it is otherwise then reapply. This is my opinion and based on experience. You can still follow your heart.
