Please i need help. A decision was made on my application in November 2021. UKVI has confirmed this. However, till today, I am yet to receive any information on this decison or any email update from TLSContact on the next steps. I have called UKVI with two escalations. Biometrics was 3 months ago. Decision was made 2 months ago. How do i proceed with this case. Please advise. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Joyousgem: 2:54pm On Feb 04, 2022 |
Squid456: From experience it usually takes one working day to get to Osun, from the email that confirms dispatch. You should have the courier tracking number that was given to you at your biometric appointment. You can fly from the issued Visa valid from date. That said if you are a student i believe you can only fly a month to your resumption. You will need to book your flight, ideally avoid European Airlines, as transit visa is required. The covid rules that apply to anyone coming into the UK varies based on whether you are fully immunised or not. Check the UK government website closer to your journey time, as the rules are constantly changing. If I may ask, is this a Visit visa application, if yes when was your biometric. Trying to figure out the average processing time. |

Kayma2000: You might want to write strong worded letter, after which if things don't change within 10wd, you lawyer up and lay rightful claims. Meanwhile have you visited tlc to inquire things? |

Gentlesoul3268: To my best of understanding it does not matter. But if you have one provide, if you don't have any, you can get one and if you can't get one at this time, you can only submit what's at your disposal. |

Hi guys, A friend just got a refusal for the following reasons. an any one help on reapplying and what to add to the re-application? Thanks! I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors because: You state that you intend to come to the UK for 5 days to attend a business meeting. However, I note that you have been employed within your current organisation since November 2017 and the documents provided do not demonstrate that you have made a comparable business trip to the UK or elsewhere for similar purpose. Furthermore, the documents you have submitted do not demonstrate that your employer has previously funded staff to attend this event and neither you nor your employer has explained why it is necessary for you to attend the event. In addition, you have failed to satisfactorily explain what benefits will accrue to your employer from your attendance at this event. This damages the overall credibility of your application. In light of all of the above, I am not satisfied that you intend to leave the United Kingdom or that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V4.2 (a) and (c). |

Hello Giselle237, I have pasted your previous response to my query below, just to remind you our last conversation. i do believe closing balance does not matter for fully sponsored as I have seen some pretty bad statements . most ecos want to see your personal financial circumstances in your country which is the bank statement even if someone is paying for the trip. How do they know what life you are living? How can they tell your situation ? Three things tht dnt look right that was filled on the fomr 1. Unemployed 2. You stated she does not receive any income. Money from her husband as allowance is income, money from family members and cash gifts etc are incomable and should have been filled there. 3. You quoted her monthly expenses as 25k with no bank statemt for them to align if this was true or not. The profile looks like one of someone who is financially incompetent and could run to the uk and seek asylum or recourse to public funds or of they see a paying job will not want to return home. I believe since she is nearly elderly and has a husband and perhaps other children in nigeria, her situation could have been presented differently even though it is a sponsored trip. You could have shown other ties. Even linked her to her husband more especially if he has properties and align it as belonging to them etc. What to do next. Take a look at her bank statement say in the last 3 months. How does it look? Ingoing? Outgoing etc ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have had a look at her two bank statements for the last 6 months. - Her savings account has a closing of 400kplus. It's very clean, 9 deposits all made by her in the last six months. Minimal withdrawals too. - Her day to day account. Closing balance of 1k plus. It's very busy, deposits from her kids, husband, in-law, and those I don't recognise their names. - I have looked at her husband's payslips, 300kplus a month. - The two landed properties are in her husband's name. One document is missing, they are looking for it but one document is available. - She is retired and receives pension but we repeatedly requested for a letter from the pension people but they refused to write one. They kept insisting she get's a letter from the UK embassy as proof of why she needs the letter. It's not possible to do this so I went with the unemployed option. This pension is not paid monthly but four times a year. It's paid into her busy day to day account and on the statement, the pension appeared on the 1st of July and 1st of October. - She does have a petty business, not registered, really small. - Which of her bank statements do I submit considering all I explained? - Would her husband's payslips and the one landed property documents be enough? - To articulate her monthly income, do I calculate all deposits from my dad and the rest of us for each month? It would vary from month to month. - Is there still need to mention the pension issue since we already went with unemployed? Thank you so much. I'll welcome contributions from everyone that can help please. |
