The police does not settle defamation claims, they investigate, arrest and charge the case to court!

But following the enactment of the 2011 criminal laws of Lagos state where Mr Farotimi resides & has his chambers located, defamation is not a criminal offense. A court summons should have sufficed, and treating his staff like they came to arrest a terrorist can be considered harassment.

Can u show me one just one tinubu pics of being arrested for drugs anywhere in the world.

But I can show u countless of ibo people being picked up for the same crime worldwide.

You're still missing the point, is the police under state or federal government? Police did their job, it is now up to the court to decide if the case has merits or not! Thousands of people are arrested yearly in Nigeria and then the case gets thrown out but to say police cannot make the arrest is simply being ignorant!
