Before we all come up here and start congratulating whoever they said did the renovations of the international airport, well anyways this is a question addressed to the Aviation minister Mr Festus and other Nigerians as well. I am sorry if this my post is to long for you, then please feel free to jump and go to the next comment. But if you feel like you need more enlightenment like me then please let me ask this questions. 1, how much was allocated to this project. 2, what are the upgraded equipment replaced to replace the old equipment so we the public know. Example of what I am asking for are what are the latest ATC transponder system for tracing airplanes and air support system. What infrastructure created. 3, from the picture posted, all I see is just the front of an old airport repainted and fixed potholes. The same old equipment form the 60s are still used. Old airplanes still used Security structure I see little or non. BUT i know very well that the amount for this project amounts to billions and that money would have build a new advance airport in Nigeria. A good example of what they are doing with the old refineries just setting us Nigerian 15 years back. In my own opinion our aviation minister is doing a terrible job and need to do much more better.Nigeria needs better |

In the midst of boko harm this airport was upgraded and made to fly international routes quickly but the airports in the south east have been riddled with Political calculations against the interest of the region. May God help this country! |

Benwallt:Maybe you should go check the first MODERN phase of these airports you mentioned. You will see it's nothing compared to what you are saying up there. Let us assume it's so, those airports are lot of years older than any of ours. We are in the 21st century and we still can't build an astonishing edifice compared to other developed nation? Progressive to development but we have to keep these political officers on their toes. We shouldn't be seeing their works as favors to us.
